Today's Take - Baby Comes Home

Baby comes home ... and the adoption drama plays out ... Maithili, after signing the documents, gets cold feet, and wants to back out ... Majisa will never accept an adopted baby, and she can't bear to watch an innocent child being insulted and ridiculed for no fault of its own.
Samrat tries to persuade her ... and fails ... so does Myrah. But to no avail.

Rudra asks what's going on and who is responsible. Maithili tells him Myrah arranged the adoption, she agreed, but now she's scared of what KCM will say. Rudra tries to add his voice to the persuasion, says he will back her, so will Samrat. Maithili shouldn't worry ... she has always shown him the right path, given him the right advice. Now it's his turn to support her ... and he will. She just has to take the decision.

Myrah gives up and starts to call the adoption agency to cancel ... and the lady arrives with baby ... apparently Myrah pulled strings to make this adoption go through super quick.

And holding the baby in her lap changes Maithili's mind ... her child, her very own child ... her baby, someone to call her Maa. 😳

I have watched many an adoption process happen, watched a mother very much like Maithili take her new baby in her arms and fall in love with her ... watched a new father handle the child awkwardly, his hands gentle, scared as though afraid to hurt the child even by mistake ... watched new grandparents as joy shines on their faces, and tears glimmer in their eyes ... I found this scene very touching. Adoption is really a noble deed ... it gives a homeless, innocent child a home, and it makes two people into a family. And for a neutral observer like me, it was a sweet taste of how beautiful some bonds not forged by blood, but from the heart, can be.

Loved the precap - Samrat should have done this a long time ago.

Rohit bane Rudra ... 😛

The first time Paro encouraged Maithili to adopt a baby ... and stood up to KCM for her. Rudra came in the middle to take the slap KCM directed at Paro ... but later, in their room, he was angry ... why did Paro have to interfere? This was not her matter ... Maithili and Samrat were nobody to her .. she had no reason to try to help them.

Today Rohit did the same thing ... asked Myrah why she needed to interfere ... this was not her matter.

Paro didn't listen much to Rudra then ... Myrah ignored Rohit now 😛

In another, unrelated scene, where nothing much happened ... Rudra and Rohit sit and drink together like uneasy buddies ... Myrah doesn't want to join them, but Rohit persuades her. She won't drink, as she doesn't drink too often. Rohit goes to get her juice, and Myrah exchanges a couple of words with Rudra and falls asleep. Rudra wants to carry her to her bed ... Rohit comes just in time to do the needful. And Rudra subsides back into his chair ... this is not his job ... not his right ... not his concern.

More jealousy for Rudra? And the scene established that Myrah, despite her being NRI, is a 'good desi girl' ... she doesn't drink ... and she probably hasn't done any hanky panky with Rohit. 😛

Doesn't matter that Rudra has had an 8 year affair, and been married once ... but his new wife must be pure as the driven snow. Hail TRP junta and their double standards!

The Pickle chronicles ... contd 😆

Sumer sweet talks Shatabdi, and gets her keys ... and the book for Mohini ... gets his money ... and then has to escort warring mother and wife for the pickle competition.

Obvious filler scenes ... since the show is winding up and Ashish is still in JDJ, with three performances every week, the CVs are stuck. They can't progress the Myrah Rudra love story with any degree of conviction ... doesn't even seem that they are trying too hard.

Hi Everybody- I had typed my answer a long time ago but it couldn't go through so now I have to type it again. 😕 I will try my best here. I tried getting on the internet and that didn't work either.

Hi Shweths- Thanks for the collages and they are great as usual.😊

Today's episode was a big step for Maithili thanks to efforts by Myrah and Rudra. Here are some of my thoughts.

Bluffing moment - Sumer Bana is back to his bluffing and this time he pretends to spend time alone with Shatabdi so that he can get close to her and take the keys. Some people never change and then he sells it to KCM for money.😕

Paying compliments- KCM is complimenting Shatabdi and she does know that something is wrong but can't figure out why she is trying to do all this. If she can't guess her husband's intentions, then there is no way she can guess what KCM is up to because KCM is always a step ahead.😊

Moment of Applaud- Shatabdi does need to be applauded for one thing at least. When KCM was torturing Maithili with her talk then she at least told KCM "What are you saying?" Myrah also told KCM that she cannot talk to Jeeja like this.👏

Drinking Session- Rohit offers Myrah some drink as a toast for his wedding and Myrah clearly refused. Rudra Bana didn't like it when Rohit insisted and it surprised me how easily he listened to Rudra and let go of his demand.😊 Myrah was further embarrassed when Rohit said that he took advantage of her. Rudra Bana didn't like it either but then Rohit said that it was a joke. (None of them are funny by the way😕)

Myrah-Rudra moment- Myrah tells Rudra that Rohit is a good boy and Rudra says "When did I say that he is not?" Myrah further says that why don't you like him and Rudra Bana avoids the answer saying that she is sleepy.😊

Carrying Myrah in his arms- I got the impression that Rudra was going to pick her up but Rohit was on time and he picked up Myrah and his slipping made Rudra worried. He said "Carefully" and Rohit said that it is OK.😊

Taking stand moment- Sumer Bana told KCM and Shatabdi that if they say one more word then he won't go, drags both KCM and Shatabdi and he walks.😊

Moment of Concern- Maithili is concerned that her child will have to go through regular taunts by KCM and it won't be fair to her child and loved what Myrah said that "All your life you have listened to her taunts, listen to some more but at least you will have a child.😊

Moment of no interference- Rohit doesn't want Myrah putting herself in all this but it is too late by now and the deal is done.😊 He is also surprised at her crying later on and I hope that it does ring a bell in him that something is cooking between the two.

Rudra's assurance to Maithili- Rudra tells Maithili that all her life she has done seva for the family and it is time for her happiness now. He also said that she has been a very good mom to Dhruv and Samrat has been a good dad. KCM will open her mouth no matter what. Rudra Bana talks about returning the debt and he does it by asking Maithili to adopt the child. He also said that he will be there to support her if KCM says something. Way to go Rudra Bana.👏

Undertone moment- Rudra tells Maithili that some people don't get a second chance at life and he was looking at Myrah while saying this dialogue.😊

Myrah being the means to an end- Myrah does take the child from the lady and puts her in Maithili's lap and Maithili quietens the child. Her maternal instincts are up and she asks is this my child? Loved how Myrah said that it would be wrong if Maithili couldn't be a mom and her dialogue delivery was perfect at this time.⭐️

Tears of Joy- Maithili can't hold it and Myrah can't either and so they both cry at this surreal moment. Finally, Maithili's dream is accomplished and thanks to Myrah, she will have a child that will call her mom and Samrat Dad.

Thanks Myrah for fulfilling Maithili's dream and a big round of applause to you. Way to go sister.👏

After watching today's episode, only one word comes to my mind and that is "Relish"

R- Rewarding (Maithili gets a chance to be mom and Samrat gets a chance to be dad)😊
E- Elated (Maithili and Samrat are ecstatic at this moment)😊
L- Long lasting (The child is going to stay with them forever)
I- Important (Maithili says that the child is her daughter and will call her mom)
S- Satisfaction (The feeling of completeness was so evident on Maithili face)
H- Happiness (This is the happiest moment of Samrat and Maithili's life)

Ticking off against my prediction on Friday

Baby brought home for Maithili - DONE
Baby getting used to the haveli
Board games
Pasta vs Roti making
Jewellery guy visit Haveli

That will be next week

The week after is as follows

News of Myrah's and Rohit's parents reaching haveli
Delay in parents reaching due to fog in Delhi airport
Further delay due to car break down
Parents finally reach and all get to know each other
Last episode : All issues sorted out. M-P. And they have just the pheras. Rudra says the correct vachans. And ties Mangalsutra. Happily ever after. After one year Paro gives birth to another son. After 5 years - Rudra, Paro, Dhruv and Vignesh playing in front of the haveli with Koel and Maithili's baby. Then five mins of interview with Ashish, Sanaya, ST,MD etc - all in one 30 mins episode.

Shweta CVS heard us😆 New outfit for tired and sick Rudra😭. His eyes were just too tired but yet tried to give nice shot. He needs multivitamins to boost his immunity😛.

Finally adoption is done🥳 and Precap - Samrat should have done this long long long time back.

Other than this a very filler episode😕

Diya: Thanks for thread and apt title. The best part of the episode was the adoption sequence. Loved it. Geetanjali was super. Adoption is a noble deed indeed😊
