This is something i have not been able to understand even after watching KKHH around 60 times.
Maybe he did love Tina and later falls in love with Anjali because after seeing the first few scenes of Rahul and Tina's happy life its difficult to believe that Rahul didn't love Tina.

IMO, Rahul had a 'type' he liked. A girlie girl. Anjali in the beginning was one of the guys, just one with boobs. The line 'saree' where he is so surprised to see her all dressed up in a saree and long hair when they meet again..🤔 🤢.

I also assume that had Tina lived, Rahul would not have fallen for Anjali when they met again even if she was wearing a nine yard saree complete with gunghat and gajra. 😛

This is my analysis of the complexities or lack there of KJo's thought process. 😆

No that was just attraction. He was young and thought it was love. Even Tina later realized that Rahul's real love was Anjali and she had come in between them. In fact she was the one who wanted Rahul Anjali to meet through her letters to the little kid.

Rahul loved Anjali.. the real love..the only time he ever loved.. he realizes it just a bit late.. he always saw Anjali just as his friend in the college days.. it happens.. nobody's perfect..

No.

Rahul was a shallow guy who just loved girlie girls. Dress up, skin show, adaa etc.

His one scene defines his character. The one where he is hugging Kajol but also holds Rani's hand and stops her from leaving.😆

A guy like him basically belongs to medieval ages and needs a harem.

He easily forgot Tina. And I feel somewhere he failed to give true love to her this is why till the end she had guilt of separating him from his so called true love.

I think he did love her. Thats what the initial scenes of their married life showed. Also, he didnt marry for so long after she died. If it was just attraction then he wouldve moved on.

kaha tha to kaha tha.. to kya hogya taify yar.. love makes u go crazy.. u talk blah blah all the time..

i feel u gonna understand the movie better when u fall in love.. all the best.. actually SRK movies are better felt than understood coz his acting is all about heart.. he acts from there u should feel it from there.. rest upto u go bash him yar.. everyone does :-(

I understand love a lot better than it looks
I dnt think srk loved rani...he was just attracted towards her...it is like in himym...ted loved robin but was happy with the wifey as well
