Hello all...

This not an OS... a semi-analytical piece... I only wish I had more time to write this better and longer... but here goes...

sheeshe mein do tasweeren
ik teri ik meri
ab mil gayi do taqdeeren
ik teri ik meri

This is a story of Ishita and Raman...

There are two people who are starkly different from each other. They have a personality of their own. Their behaviours are different, their mannerisms contrasting, even their approach to life is different.

They had both been handed losing cards by the dealer known as life. When they meet, they hate each other. They find the faults in the other's personality, they critique the other person's behaviour, they abhor the other's mannerisms. Above all, they dont hesitate to voice their opinion loud and clear.

Unknown to them, they have been placed in a 'common' situation, and someone's watching.

Their fathers ask them to come together. They instantly refuse. Their body language becomes defensive. Their faces spew hatred for the other person, and they are disappointed in life for making them stand in the same place together, for what looks like a life sentence.

They are urged by others to come closer to each other. He does that first, she still isnt budging. When she is prompted, she too comes closer...

Alas, this is not enough. Circumstances, and the need to depict togetherness in front of the observers, he goes as far as to touch her. He feels he's being forced. She just sighs and learns to deal with it.

The music starts becoming sweeter. Their faces are now showing traces of humility and an emotion that's a bit more positive than they are used to feel in each other's presence.

They are urged to enjoy life. They even put on on a smile. They think its a fake smile, and the hope is false. But when the show is over and no one's watching them any more, they dont realise they are looking at each other now, their body turned toward the other person.

Now watch the scene again with the photographer from yesterday's episode.

"Life is a journey, photography is thy shepherd." - Destin Sparks

Lucky ... you know while watching this scene yesterday, I got a vaguely similar thought but extreme tiredness made me call it a day before my thoughts could take a coherent shape. While I was halfway through your post, I was like, woaah so similar to the photograph scene yesterday ... and bang on ... your last line ... 👏👏

Sigh
... you write amazingly ... ⭐️⭐️

Man proposes God disposes .. I believe this idiom was probably invented for these two, two absolutely different souls from diametrically opposite backgrounds are thrown together on a common platform.

Howsoever, they try and take different paths, life pushes them back on the same platform repeatedly where they are not only expected to strive together, but find solace and happiness in it.

Both of them don a mask to hide the truth from the world, a mask which forces them to depict togetherness, happiness, concern, care. With time, the mask discreetly starts changing the contours of their real self and before they comprehend the severity of their actions, the seemingly harmless mask has already changed their entire outlook and churns out two altogether different souls, souls who have been bonded with each other forever, souls who now want to be bound together wholeheartedly, forever.

Great post as always ...

Cheers
