Kabir says he has a reason for saying what he said and she'll find out at the right time. She'll also find out who fake the relations are in her family.

Lavanya is telling Prateek to let her talk to Kushaan when he comes in. Prateek tells Kushaan that they are happy with his work. Kushaan asks it looks like there is an atmosphere being created for him. Prateek takes the talk forward to the Lonavala project. Kushaan says that Prateek told him to work on the tower project, but Prateek says that Kushaan is supposed to concentrate on all projects equally. Lavanya agrees and Kushaan says fine. (Prateek is basically creating a web to get Kushaan out of the way.)
Nikhil is with someone when his doorbell rings and he's surprised to see Sonali at the door. Sonali says she is tense as Nikhil keeps looking over his shoulder. She comes in and he says that he is with someone. Sonali finds him unbelievable. (Lady I find you unbelievable. You think everyone is just around for you. Give the guy his space as well damn it!) Sonali walks into the room to find another guy in the room. She leaves in shock. (Yeah well I don't feel bad for her. She's crazy.)
Kushaan asks how can he concentrate on both and the tower project. Lavanya suggests to concentrate on the tower project for a week and then on both after that. Prateek asks who is making the suggestion: a wife or vice president? Prateek says he needs time to think and tells Kushaan to leave, who leaves. Lavanya asks why was he trying to corner Kushaan. Prateek says that he's running a business empire and he will not spare anyone, including himself, for profits. He adds he wants a good manager for the project and it is a decision made by the entire board. He leaves. (Prateek is a full on professional man but I think he's becoming personal here.)
Later, at home, Kushaan is drinking when Lavanya comes home. He asks what boss said and adds that he did it on purpose. Lavanya says he was just being professional. Kushaan says that he's trying to put him down and now he'll work on both projects in his way. Lavanya says Prateek trusts Kushaan then lets out that he is bringing in an external advisor for the tower project. Lavanya and Kushaan get into a fight and Kushaan leaves angrily.
Sonali reaches home still in a state of shock. Gaurav is about to find out what Sonali saw when Kabir and one cop come in. Gaurav asks why he is here and Kabir replies, "Aapko miss kar raha tha."
Lavanya follows Kushaan downstairs where Abhay is waiting. He asks for the clothes that Meghan and Bobby were wearing on Prateek's birthday. Kushaan is getting angry, but Lavanya gets the clothes.
Prateek is getting angry that Kabir let Vivaan go and now he wants the clothes. Vivaan is brought over and Kabir says, "Maano aapna gunaah aur kaho ke Trisha ko tumne hi kidnap kiya hai." Then he takes the gun from the officer and gives it to Prateek telling him to shoot Vivaan. Kabir says that when he can't shoot Vivaan without evidence then how can they detain him without evidence and he's searching for that evidence. He takes the gun back and asks for the clothes again.
At Lavanya's house the clothes are brought out and Abhay confirms that they are correct. Then he says one more thing.
Kabir says he wants everyone's handwriting samples. Prateek asks why and Vivaan says to match it to the book.
Kushaan says even us. Abhay says please cooperate. Lavanya looks frustrated.
Prateek asks how can he think that he would give such a book to his own daughter. Kabir cites a psychology book and says he's just trying to rule out the possibility that any of them are involved. Prateek says to rule him out because he's Trisha's father and Kabir says he's going to take Trisha's mother's sample as well.
Lavanya writes out her sample. Kushaan takes the pad and writes out his sample. Then Abhay gets Meghan and Bobby to do the same. Meghan does it and gives the pad to Bobby who cuts his finger. Abhay mutters that Kabir was right that they wouldn't get samples so easily. Abhay asks for a course notebook to use as the sample instead. (I'd like to make a note here that Abhay was absolutely hilarious throughout. He was so nice and kind, but you could see the sarcasm literally dripping from each word of his. 😆)
Prateek is getting angry, but Amrita gives the sample writing something straight out of her mind, which Kabir reads. Then Kabir gives the pad to Prateek next who also reads the message and then writes his own message for Trisha. Amrita and Kabir look at each other over Prateek.
Precap: Prateek says he won't put himself in the investigation, but remove Kabir from the investigation. Sonali tells Gaurav that she has found out the whole truth about Nikhil. Prateek is getting angry about Kabir.
