12th August 2013 was the epic date when we all got one of the most sensational jodi of small screen "Raghu and Shivani" also known as RaShi portrayed by the dashing & talented Arhaan Behll and beautiful & gorgeous Mansi Srivastava respectively who came into our lives and successfully conquered our hearts in this one year of blissful journey 😳 ...

Today with the show going off air suddenly , there is a certain vaccuum being felt in our hearts as we continue to wonder how blissful this Anniversary celebration could have been if our show was still running but having said that , we are few of those lucky fans who managed to bid farewell to our show with a TRP as high as 2.5 (5.2 TVT) in its last week and among the top 10 shows consistently right from start till the end 😎 .. Now thats an achievement to be worth proud of as we celebrate our show's Anniversary today with a bang ..isn't it 👏👏

Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se traces the lives of two young people, Shivani and Raghu. Hailing from two very different strata's of the society, Shivani is a privileged girl who lives a luxurious life with her grandfather Balwant Rana whom she lovingly calls Daaju . He is an overprotective guardian who has an aide named Raghu . Raghu for the past several years, has been working as a personal assistant to the rich Balwant Rana . He's been Ranaji's errand boy, personal assistant and bodyguard, all rolled into one. For Raghu, Ranaji is God, and he devotedly strives to do anything, everything and often more than what Ranaji expects him to do. In return, Ranaji also gives him a lot of importance in his everyday dealings, and has a lot of faith in him . Shivani lovingly addresses Raghu as her Jaadugar as she knows there is nothing that Raghu cannot do for her 😳 . Raghu too addresses Shivani as Babyji as he always feels extra protective towards her like a true bodyguard 😳

Circumstances conjure up a situation whereby Shivani, the girl born in riches gets married to an underprivileged Raghu and is forced to stay with him for minimum 3 months post her Daju's death in order to get Daaju's property . The story then traces the journey of Raghu-Shivani as husband-wife, Shivani's adjustment with a man who she always thought of as a help in the house and now has to accept him as her life partner. It's her struggle to adapt herself in a household and a lifestyle that is diametrically opposite from what she is used to and at the same time Raghu's struggle to let go off his prejudices as a servant and accept Shivani eventually as his wife .. 😳 ...

Raghu and Shivani had no choice but to stay as husband-wife where they both kept facing several difficulties from various corners , yet Raghu's support for Shivani was one common factor which kept strengthening their bond every passing day 😳 ; Both even shared few moments as a married couple while dancing together to Sayyara for the first time and this is where we got the first ever RaShi dance together

During this journey of RaShi as husband-wife , several evil forces come their way trying to separate them especially Shivani's own brother and bhabhi who managed to create a big misunderstanding between the couple but destiny always made sure RaShi stayed together and so despite all the differences and Raghu going through several humiliations to protect his Babyii from becoming a joker to doing a risky fire stunt to taking several taunts of Shivani in the office just to make her self-independent , eventually all his efforts pays off in the end with truth triumphs as Raghu manages to win the battle against the evil forces 👏👏 and Shivani eventually realises her mistakes 👍🏼, thus both coming one step close to each other in the journey towards love and togetherness 😳

Finally love blossoms in Shivani's heart as she realises that she is head over heels in love with her Jaadugar and accepts Raghu as her husband from her heart after few passionate daydreaming and self-realisation. 😳 .. But this is where her battle of getting acceptance as his wife from Raghu's end begins because Raghu refuses to accept her as his wife after she opens her heart out to Raghu and confesses her love to him one night under the effect of bhang only to realise next morning that their marriage 3 month clause is over and Raghu is ready to leave her all alone in Haveli since for him she will always remain his Malkin and he will always be her naukar 😭😭... But what is a epic love story without its share of heartbreaks 😳 .. So from here the real love journey of RaShi begins 😎

Raghu is bound to a marriage promise that he made to his once upon a time fiance Sumitra who is a evil in disguise but Shivani is determined to win Raghu's heart as his wife and make him shed all his inhibitions this time because she knows well that deep inside Raghu too is head over heels in love with her but is just giving it the name of duty all thanks to his age old prejudices related to rich and poor ,... Shivani makes several efforts to win Raghu's heart and though his heart does melt but his dutiful mind is too strong to break the barrier that he has created between him and his Babyji

On one hand Raghu decides to get Shivani married to someone else who belongs to her class and status as he feels thats how he can fulfill his promises that he made to his Maliksa but on other hand Shivani's love for Raghu has now become almost her obsession as she is determined to win him by hook or by crook 😈 ; Shivani's romantic dreams kept getting hotter and bolder every passing day as her desire to win Raghu kept increasing further 😳 ; She was bold enough to dream a blissful married life with Raghu where he does everything for her from singing songs to cuddling her in his arms to kissing her 😳 ...This is where we got several dreamy moments of RaShi from their hot tum hee ho sequence to abhi abhi sequence all thanks to Shivani's daydreamnig 😛😉...

But all her dreams turn into a nightmare after she is given a reality check by Raghu that he is planning to get her married off to someone else 😭😭 ; Shivani too is adamant in this case and marks her territory boldly in front of Raghu as his wife forever 😎 ; She even goes to the extent of proving to Raghu that he too loves her a lot as Raghu gets violent and almost looses his self-control when few goons hit on her and for the first time we get to see the possessive side of Raghu as a husband 😳...

Eventually Shivani is left with no choice but to agree for marriage as Raghu plays his cards well this time with a fake marriage act with Sumitra ; But destiny again had other plans as the the guy Karan who was suppose to marry Shivani backs out in the end minute after realising RaShi r made for each other 😳 ; Shivani then suddenly faints in Raghu's arms and after Raghu comes to know that Shivani is suffering from heart ailment , he goes all restless and decides to travel to Mumbai with Shivani for her treatment and once again here we see husband Raghu in action as slowly the that servant Raghu fades away and the husband takes over 😳

A new journey for RaShi begins in Mumbai where slowly Raghu develops initial love attraction towards Shivani as both continue to stay together under one roof 😳 ; They both go through lots of struggle in Mumbai to get a proper shelter but even then their journey in Mumbai prove to b quite a blisful one as they enjoy the Mumbai darshan and their blissful stay in a chawl together all alone with their share of some cute tiffs , arguments , oil massages ,some first time attraction from Raghu's side and some hugs 😛 till one day they meet a Film Producer Veer Pratap and life once again takes a U-turn from here on

RaShi end up taking shelter at Veer Pratap's house as the guy helps Raghu financially for Shivani's treatment and even offers a film to Shivani as heroine which she agrees just to make Raghu jealous 😉 and from here on the jealousy game begins which to some extent helps Raghu in realising his love for Shivani as he self-confesses finally that he cannot see Shivani with anyone else or cannot even tolerate anyone touching her 😳 ; RaShi for the first time even gets into a dance competition as a couple where Raghu for the first time gets completely mesmerised in Shivani's beauty and wonders whats happening to him but just could not stop himself from getting intimate with Shivani right on the dance floor forgetting everything else ☺️☺️... They not only win the dance competition but they manage to get new found confidence in their husband-wife relation too as Raghu promises to Shivani never to put his life in danger or get into fight ring for quick money after he sees Shivani going to the extent of doing a item number for quick money just to stop Raghu from putting his life in danger 😳...

Shivani even manages to convince Raghu to call her just Shivani and no more Babyji or else she gonna harass him with Raghu Ji now 😈 ; It was not exactly a cakewalk for Shivani as even though Raghu finally got convinced to just call her Shivani but his shifting back and forth from Babyji to Shivani and vice versa was quite a roller coaster ride for Shivani and us viewers too 😆 though Raghu eventually overcame with his confusion and finally started addressing her as Shivani on a regular basis slowly 😉😳

Amidst RaShi's love blossoming , a spell of black magic from Veer-Pratap and his wife creates havoc in RaShi's life once again but in the end once again their true love triumphs as Raghu manages to save Shivani on time and almost kill Veer Pratap as he dares to touch his Shivani but police takes him away on time 😃...RaShi's belief in each other finally overcomes all evil successfully ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finally Shivani's operation happens successfully and this is where Raghu opens his heart out to Shivani for the first time as he confesses that his life is nothing without her and so she will hv to live for him or else he will die too 😭 ; Raghu also gets a dream for the first time where he confesses love to Shivani and accepts for the first time that he always loved her and will continue to love her forever 😳 ...

After coming back to Jodhpur , RaShi together manage to get their house back from the evil force of Sumitra with Karan's help and then after sorting out all the family problems , RaShi finally become one with Shivani telling Raghu that our memories will stay forever with us even if we r not here 😭 and Raghu finally confesses his love to Shivani in front of all by going down on his knees and asking her if she will b his wife not just in this birth but in every birth as he loves her a lot 😳 ; Shivani accepts the proposal happily and finally we see a proper RaDhi hug with Shivani resting her head over his chest and Raghu holding her tightly in his arms for the first time 😳😳

I loved the show , because it is very different from other shows The hero isn't rich, nor fighting with the heroine . This show has the charm of old Indian movies. Arhaan's acting as Raghu made me believe that he is really that simple man with high values. Mansi surprised me by improvement in her acting. She did lot of scenes with many expressions. Her role was more chalenging than Arhaan's. And she did full justice to it.

Also this forum is very lovely . It has the cutest ppl I'v ever met in my life.

I have many scenes. I loved flying kites scene, hide and seek scene. Shivani's love confession scene. Hospital scenes when Raghu broke down. And many others.

During the jealousy track I dreamt of Raghu being more posessive. And turning into a movie star. Also I wanted to see the passionate side of Raghu.

Sumi's reentry. There was no need for it. Raghu could stay as secretary for Shivani. He is very tough man he could stop her from seducing him. And find a groom for her.
We all know Raghu's love confession was rushed up due to obvious reasons 😡 , so if you are given an opportunity to write a scene on Raghu's love confession to Shivani , what will it be , you can write the scene in Max 200 words 😛
Tis is very difficult. But let me try. If the show wasn't rushed so I guess Raghu won't confess before Shivani becomes very far from him. That seperation was needed . Coz Raghu's self control is very strong. Maybe Shivani becomes a star . And Raghu couldn't bear himself left behinde so he comes back home. Deal with Sumi. Shivani thinks he goes to marry Sumi. Comes like a fire. They have a fight . Then Raghu assures her that she is the only love in his life.
Last but not the least , your wishes on our show's Anniversary 😳

Iwish Arhaan and Mansi lts of happiness and success in their lives. They made an old woman very happy. They completed my life. I can't thank them enough.

I started watching this show for Arhaan only ,as i watch only his shows but very soon got attached to the story n rashi too ...started loving MS too ,though found her weak in acting in the initial days but she very soon picked up n improved by leaps n bounds .I was active in this forum from the first day n made many gud friends here n all were nice n a very peaceful forum .Love all the members here ...🤗

For me every rashi scene was too gud ,i just cant single out anything n i have watched all rashi scenes multiple times by now n all r very close to my heart .Though the actual love story dint start only then too they had a spark in them n they have sizzling chemistry n v could see it through the eye locks n Shi's drool worthy dreams .

Always wanted to see R show the same intensity which shi showed in expressing her love ,wanted R to take the lead n get romantic with her ,n see shi all blushing n the shine n brightness on her face would n worth watching n seeing AB in such scenes would b worth watching .

All the dance sequences of rashi will b etched in my mind forever ,i found them to b a divine jodi ,full of love n purity .All the song sequences were hot n well executed .Arsi had put their heart in it ,they have a natural chemistry in them .

I liked dajus character ,evil trio n panna tai ,sehriyas were gud but got hell irritating when they turned to apron clad servants .

Well it has to b only sumi n her tarck ,it should have never hapened in the show ,the shows quality fell drastically after she entered n the main base of the story that is rashis journey got sidelined n it got deviated badly .Her track was badly written n very illogic too ,she was nowhere realted to any character of the show ,just was forcibly thrown at us .

We all know Raghu's love confession was rushed up due to obvious reasons 😡 , so if you are given an opportunity to write a scene on Raghu's love confession to Shivani , what will it be , you can write the scene in Max 200 words 😛

I wanted R to confess his love for shi personally in their bedroom when shi was least expecting it ,i wanted it to b simple which would b according to his simple personality but he should have been made to confess with great romantic dialogues which would make shi all happy for which she had been waiting for so long ,n then a passionate hug n a kiss had to follow .

Wish the whole cast best of luck n wish the show gets a season 2 or atleast v get ARSI back in a show together bcz they have great chemistry but their complete potential was not explored at all .😭
