Sir, that one- where a cocktail with Brazil's flag was shown, background music was- Brazil..la la la lalala la & then a glass of German bear totally smashing the cocktail glass'
Hearing Khushi's statement Shyam raised his face from the newspaper in his hand, gave a sideward glance to the open kitchen & saw the person's back who was cooking in the kitchen got stiffen.
Anjali came rushing towards the breakfast table & instantly offered,'Khushi, I have tried a new sweet dish today. Would you like to try it'?
Surely Mam, why not? You too haven't watch the video , right Mam. Okay, then let's watch it together.'
Shyam slowly shook his head thinking, the storm which is forming in the open kitchen is surely going to hit them soon.
Shyam Jha owns a company producing Home furnitures . His wife is a renouned interior designer. Since, Shyam's business is ancestral, so it has branches all over India . After Shyam joined his ancestral business, he has opened few branches in USA as well as few European countries. Khushi works in the Kolkata branch & used to look after planning of marketing strategies for their products. She has developed an expertise in understanding Kolkata market & thus has helped much in the profit of their company. Their company has decided to launch a series of new set of furniture for 4 main Metro cities- Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai & Kolkata . Since, their headoffice is in Delhi, so they have decided to bring Marketting expert from the respective cities to Delhi , so that they can decide what individual strategy they are going to follow for individual cities. Already Mr Rao from Chennai & Mr Dixit from Mumbai has completed their schedule & according to their strategy- the designs of new series of furniture were given to the production team & they are being carried out now. Khushi joined Delhi branch last month & her charming nature has made everybody took an instant liking for her. Generally outstation employees are supposed to stay in company's quarter. Since Khushi came here on official project purpose & hearing lot of praises about her , Anjali insisted Shyam to invite Khushi over dinner. After two meetings Anjali has liked her so much that she was often invited to their home for some reason or other. Since Anjali's brother NK & her two cousins - Arnav & Aakash are very much close to her, on one such occasion- she was introduced to all three members. After initial awkwardness was over- it was known that Arnav is a hardcore Brazilian fan whereas Khushi has been a die- hard Argentinian supporter from her childhood. So obviously two became strong enemies & whenever there was a match of Argentina or Brazil, they often put up conditions like if Brazil looses the match, Arnav has to fulfill all Khushi's demand & if Brazil wins then Khushi should fulfill Arnav's wish & same goes for Argentina as well.
It was the evening after Brazil- Germany match & Brazil looses the match by 1-7 goals. Adding to the misery Arnav was made to cook food for Khushi the entire day. Since, Arnav was an excellent cook & he own a chain of restaurant & fast food outlet all over India & even abroad , so he was given this cooking task. No other family members even objected as all of them are enjoying the food prepared by Arnav.
Khushi has already ate about 10 aloo parathas with curry, 2 apples, huge glass of orange juice in Breakfast, Mutton Biriyani & Chicken chaap in lunch. And now has ordered 5 different types of Kebabs as evening snacks- Hariyali Kebab, Galauti Kebabs, Shami Kebabs, Shikh Kebabs, Charcoal Kebabs. Arnav was already in a foul mood for preparing his favourite dish - Biriyani & that too on the occasion of Brazil's loss & now he has to prepare all these Kebabs.
He put the plate full of Kebabs in front of Khushi & asked in a fake sweet voice,'Anything more Maam'?
Khushi replied with a fake smile,'Ab aap itne pyaar se pooch rahe ho toh... aur kebab lekar ayo'' & concentrated on the plate infront of her.
Arnav entered into the Kitchen & muttered under his breathe,'Just wait. Final is round the corner. Just wait until Argentina looses the match & then I'l show you what is it to mess with ASR
Khushi was in a foul mood today. Last night was the FIFA world Cup Final & Argentina lost the match. She can't sleep the entire night & has shed bucket full of tears. Her room mate Shreeja was awake too to console her, but all in vain. Today, also, all her colleagues has made fun of her regarding the match. So, after office today, she was walking alone , not really wanting to go to her quarter as her other outstation colleagues will continue with these taunting. Her walk suddenly came to an abrupt halt hearing a horn behind her. She look to find Arnav driving the car. Where are you going like this'? Arnav asked her.
Khushi feeling more upset replied,'No- where'.
Arnav sighed,'What happened? You look very upset'
Khushi replied back,'As if you don't know'?
"Ok fine. Let's go to any Icecream parlour'. Arnav offered.
Now, that was the last nail to the coffin. Khushi started sobbing & blabbering,' First of all Argentina lost the match & I spent the entire night crying. Then my colleagues make fun of me the entire day & now you want to celebrate Argentina's loss by an Icecream treat. This is your way of taking revenge from me?'
With this Khushi started crying bitterly. Arnav got panicked & rushed out of his car & hold Khushi by her shoulder,''Sorry Sorry Sorry ... I didn't mean that. You were upset & I was trying to cheer you. Now please don't' cry.'
After sometime, Khushi composed herself & Arnav took her to the nearest Icecream parlour. Both of them sat at a corner table. Khushi while tasting her favourite Sundae Icecream asked Arnav,'Does that mean, you will not take revenge'. Seeing her mood a little better, Arnav replied,'Mare hue ko kiya marna. Once you feel better, I will obviously take my revenge. Don't feel too happy'. Hearing him Khushi replied,'Okay done. Thanks for not taking revenge now. By the way have you seen the German coach Joachim Low - he ... is...so handsome... so manly . Don't you think so?' & concentrated on her icecream.
Arnav smiled amusedly as what to make this weird but sweet girl, one moment she is hardcore Argentina supporter & next moment she literally drools over opponent teams coach. Unbelievable.
Guys no hard feelings for either the Brazilian or the Argentinian supporter. I just made this OS just for fun. Please do not get angry & please do comment. In case you like the concept, then please suggest me should I go for an FF with these characters & situation . Your opinion matters to me a lot. Please suggest.
