She hated everyone who had a choice, when hers was taken away.
Parth picked her up in his arms then, with out a word. He did not even ask why silent tears were flooding down her cheeks, why she did not grunt in pain when her injured leg brushed against the door as they left, or why she didn't say a word to him again that night. She fell asleep in his arms, and he laid her down on her bed, gazing at her face for a second or two before he left, without a backward glance.
