Ok so guys hey...I'm here again,..
But this time along with someone special...Comfused??
Well lemme elaborate,..
So I'm here to present OUR new os,..
It's by ASHLESHA(infernofyre) and me ...
She done most of the part...shez a fabulous writer,..
So here u go...
It was cold outside.
Not the biting kind of cold, but the refreshing kind of cold. It washed over him like a wave of calm and he took a deep breath as me made his way over to his favourite place in the entire college. The court. His own sweet haven.
But this time,it wasn't as isolated as he expected it to be.
There was a faint sound coming from the basket ball court.
Thud.Thud .Thud
He strained his ears to hear properly. Yes, someone was definitely dribbling a ball
Normal people would call the person who was dribbling the ball mad.
But not him...he had too many memories related to this specific sport which he loved.
His curiosity got the best of him and he went closer to check who the person playing could be.
He stayed in the shadows, not wanting to startle the mystery girl.
Yes, she was a girl, he could tell that by a pair of shorts that nearly covered her thighs...
He inhaled quickly as her arms flew to take a shot her sleeveless hoody slightly moving up.
And in that process showing her bare waist .
He licked his lips, feeling something he hadn't in a long time.
"Urgh!" her soft, frustrated sigh filled the silence.
She couldn't do it. Again. And this time, her shot was way off the mark.
He was trying hard to control his laughter when he suddenly the question of why would she be playing BB at this wee time of the night entered his mind.
Her shout of delight interrupted his flow of thoughts. She was still oblivious to her surroundings, doing a little victory dance as finally she had done what she was trying for so long
She had scored a basket.
'Now she will go' he thought in relief.
She took out a black cloth from that tiny shorts she was wearing .To his utter shock and amazement she put it over her eyes and tied it . A Blindfold,
His throat went dry.
He still couldn't see her...nor could she see him. The blindfold and the shadows were their bubbles of protection from each others eyes
Even a kid could tell that.she wasn't a great player
But still - she tried.
And that earned her a bit of his respect.
Fully confident that she couldn't see him ,he started moving towards her at a very slow pace.
She was engrossed completely in her task. She tried to score for first time and as just as he thought she would...she missed it. She tried again a few more times but all her efforts were in vain.
She held out her arms to shoot once more. "This is the last time I'm trying..." She declared.
He froze. She continued playing, still unaware that she was being watched.
He had realized that she had been telling that to herself. She hadn't noticed him at all.
He turned to leave but her hiss of pain stopped in. He moved in closer, close enough to get a proper look at her
This mystery girl, the one he had given his respect to for her perseverance was his rival...in a sense.
He wanted to help her.
Not because he wanted to know how it felt to hold her
He wanted to help because she was in pain.
Her hands moved to her face to remove the blindfold.
That would ruin everything!
He swiftly caught her hands in his own covering her mouth with his other hand to stop her from screaming.
"Stay quiet..!!" his hoarse whisper made her freeze in his grip.
He helped her up, holding her close to him. He knew it was wrong.
But it felt right.
"Don't you want to finish what you started...??" he whispered in her ears, the huskily quality making her shiver.
"Stay here, I'll get the ball" He left her to find it, immediately missing her essence and her touch...he dint know why but he loved touching her...and today he was going to do that. He finally found the ball and returned to his blindfolded companion
He handed her the ball and regained his previous position,her back touching his chest.
Slowly, his palms traced a path along her bare arms and up to the ball. He could feel her tremble beneath him. He chucked and finally aimed for the basket
"And that's a basket..." He said nuzzling her ear lobe with his nose.
And then, she moaned "Parth..."
He was shocked as well as delighted at the sound of his name coming from her lips. Delighted because somewhere deep down inside he knew that she would not let any other man touch her the way he did.
She'd known all along it was him.
She was pulled to back to reality when he turned her around, holding her in a tight embrace.
The feeling of her leaning into him was overwhelming, he leaned down and captured her lips with his own.
Passion. Want. Longing. Air.
She moved away and took a much needed breath.
Before he could stop stop himself he had huskily called out her name..."Vidushi ..."
With trembling fingers, she ripped the cloth off her eyes.
He stood before her, in the flesh.
She rubbed her eyes to see for herself.
He was there.
She knew he was no mirage when his lips descended upon her own.
Soft. Need. Heat. Passion. Want.
They moved away from each other, small smiles on their faces.
No words were needed. He took her by the hand and they walked into the shadows.
No longer alone anymore.
No longer just a whisper in the dark.
