SO I caught up with all the episodes. I have to say I loved Varun's this character. He was such a positive inspirational character that stood up to people when he needed to like the Mother (who I found irritating and a little over the top) and the school principle but otherwise got on with his job never losing sight of the fact that he was shaping young minds.
I don't know much about Indian serials to know whether this the norm and PHS was a abrasion but this is the kind of story line worth watching.
