Aashka Goradia used to be a national-level kabaddi khiladi

Years before she became an actress, Aashka Goradia used to be a kabaddi player. In fact, she even represented her school in the under-16 national-level championships.
 
 

Her passion for the sport saw her suffer quite a few fractures. "I was good at several games, but after I started breaking bone after bone playing kabaddi, my dad stopped me."

She remembers the game fondly. "I definitely miss those days. The sport helps you understand the true meaning of team spirit. Also, the excitement and energy was unmatched," she says.

And while her sporting days may well be behind her, Aashka does enjoy catching games on television every chance she gets.

Ashka could have single handedly popularised kabaddi for women if she had continued 😃   with her looks n fierce competition.  Its kabaddi,s loss
