"Dad is not going to agree Parth. I've tried convincing him so many times that I don't want to marry so early but he just doesn't listen to me and shuns me," Sanyukta told Parth on the phone, awaiting the verdict of the 'friend' that grandmother had brought along.
"Don't worry Sanyukta, I'm already here, I'll do something," Parth told her.
He spotted the grandmother Sanyukta was talking about outside and decided to convince her.
"Namaste Daadiji," he told her.
"You are also Ankit's friend like the other boy beta?" she asked him, confused at the number of guys appearing in this house.
Parth understood that the 'other boy' in question was Randhir. Deciding to play along, he said, "Yes Daadi."
"How is that girl inside and why are her hands so rough?" she asked him.
"Oh, she hates cooking and is more of boy than a girl. She always used to play basketball in her childhood, hence her hands are rough," he told her.
The granny was shocked at this statement. Within ten minutes, the engagement was broken and they left. Sanyukta immediately called Parth to share this news with him and got to know that he did all this.
"Ankit has never been as much a brother to me Parth like you have been. Thank you for being the brother I needed," Sanyukta told him.
