WEEK 1 : April 1st - 5th
Jaitsar :
Mannu's surgery is successful and he gets cured. Ratan Singh's parents come and claim for Mannu as per the deal. Jagdish tells them that his complete recovery will take time and he needs to be closely monitored till that time, so he will be handed over when he is completely ok. Ganga as a mother begins to feel very emotional at the prospect of losing Mannu. DadiSa asks Ganga to be brave and think about Mannu's happines. Singhs and JaGan try to smile for the sake of Mannu.
Udaipur :
Anandi at an old age home she frequents, comes across an old lady named Suhasini a resident of Mumbai, who is deserted by her son. Suhasini was unsuspecting her son to do something like this and is shocked and goes into a denial when she gets to know the truth. She is given words of courage by Anandi and is told to face the situation and stand up for her self-respect. Suhasini wishes to teach her son a lesson and with a plan in her mind, asks Anandi to accompany to Mumbai. Anandi agrees as Shiv too supports her n this sojourn. Anoop too joins the duo, and together, they reach Suhasini's apartment but they find it locked. They get to know from neighbours that her son along with his family has gone on an outing. Suhasini takes a duplicate set of keys from one of the neighbor and agrees upon a deal to sell the hose to them then and there. She asks Anandi for her help to transfer the money to the old age home. They leave from there.
Later the son comes and finds out that he cannot live there anymore, it is already sold. He comes over with his family to the old age home and questions his mother angrily. They even insult Anandi.
Suhasini speaks up and asks them to shut up. They insist that the lady give them the money and they will go away. Suhasin refuses and says, that the money has already been donated to the old age home after leaving aside some amount in the name of her grandson for his education. She asks her son to ensure his son turns out to be a better human being. The inmates of the old age home, order the son and the family to just leave from there.
Sanchi - Vivek 's wedding date is fixed. Vivek misses his family at an occasion of wedding shopping, which is noticed by Sanchi.
WEEK 2 : April 7th - 12th
Jaitsar :
The time for handing over Mannu to Ratan Singh nears. Singhs are extremely sad. DadiSa sends Basant - Gehna to attend the wedding of Sanchi. Ratan Singh shares his happiness at the prospect of having Mannu back with him, with his fellow prisoner Gunjan. Then they see Gunjan's young son Shankar, getting arrested for murder and joining them in jail. Gunjan is shocked and angrily slaps his son. Shankar slaps him back and answers back rudely that he is walking in the same path his father has set forth. Ratan Singh is shocked at these words. Next day, he gets to know, that Gunjan has committed suicide.
JaGan come to jail to handover Mannu to Ratan's parents in his presence. Its then, Ratan recollects all that has happened with Gunjan and his Son. With a change of heart and to much dismay of his parents, he decides that Mannu will stay with JaGan itself. He asks Jagdish, to give Mannu a bright and respectable future. JagGan and Singhs are overjoyed, having Mannu back with them.
At a function in BH, Kanchan collapses with severe stomach pain. Jagdish checks on her and confirms that there is a tumor in her uterus and it has to removed asap. He asks Manish if he needs time to think about it. Manish tells him to go ahead with it immediately as he does not want to risk Kanchan's life. Jagdish goes ahead with the surgery. Manish's parents, upon getting to know, angrily question Jagdish and Singhs. They leave from there in a huff, saying that now, Kanchan is of no use for them as she cannot give them a grandchild.
Udaipur :
Sanchi requests Anandi to accompany her to invite Vivek's family for the wedding. Anandi advises, it's not a god idea as they may insult Sanchi. But Sanchi is adamant as she feels Vivek is missing his family and she can try so much for the sake of his happiness. Kabras are shocked to learn that Vivek is getting married to Sanchi. As expected Sanchi gets insulted and is asked to leave from there.
Sanchi's marriage celebrations begin with Haldi and Sangeet ceremonies. AnSh dance together beautifully at Sangeet. Sanchi - Vivek wedding takes place. Rakhee witnesses her brother's wedding from far. Kabras arrive at the wedding with legal papers to de alienate Vivek from the ancestral property. On the first night of wedding, when Vivek tries to come close to Sanchi, she upon remembering the incident of assault on her gets agitated. Vivek understands and decides to give her the time.
AnSh share a private romantic moment. Rakhee is taunted by a couple of girls for Saurabh's crime, leaving her in tears.
In an unexpected turn of events, Amol is kidnapped from his school gate due to negligence of a peon. He is kidnapped by none other than the lady of the beggar gang as revenge towards Anandi's action of liberating young kids from her clutches, and getting the beggars arrested. The principal summons Anandi and she is shattered getting to know the kidnap. Shiv reaches there immediately and takes the matter into his hands, giving rock solid support to shattered Anandi. They go on a frantic search mission, and the police force too is employed in all seriousness.
WEEK 3 : April 14th - 19th
Jaitsar :
The Singhs discuss the possibility of Kanchan and Manish using a surrogate to have a biological child as it will also satisfy Manish's parents' desire for a blood heir. Unfortunately Kanchan's in-laws do not agree and instead state their intention to get their son remarried. Manish makes a stand for his wife and his parents leave claiming he will return once he realizes his mistake.
Dadisa is approached by the local farmers who are being cheated of revenue due to vendors offering low prices. She convinces the Panchayat to purchase all the vegetables at fair price so that the vendors learn their lesson and pay the government set rate to the farmers.
Udaipur :
Rakhi confronts Saurabh about his attack on Sanchi and berates him for his choices. She seeks forgiveness from Sanchi and Vivek for her behaviour towards them. They gladly forgive her and are happy to find out that she had secretly attended their wedding.
The Shekhars are disheartened to hear a recently found boy is not Amol and wonder as to why there has been no ransom demand. Amol's family and friends distribute pamphlets with his picture to try and get information about his location. Meanwhile Amol manages to befriend a boy beggar named Tinku who is part of the beggar gang. Amol promises to help Tinku if the two of them manage to escape to which Tinku agrees.
The gang of beggars realize Amol is the son of the Udaipur Collector after seeing Shiv and Anandi answering the media's questions about their missing son. Afraid that they will be caught with so much police around they all frantically begin packing up their base. Tinku and Amol use this confusion to make their escape. Unfortunately Amol is recaptured and the head lady states they will soon be going to Jaipur. Tinku however manages to get in contact with Anandi and Shiv and leads them to Amol. The loved ones are reunited and fulfil Amol's promise to Tinku by arranging for him to be admitted into an orphanage thus escaping his life on the streets. The Shekhars celebrate Amol's return.
WEEK 4 : April 21st - 30th
Jaitsar :
Dadisa liaises between the farmers and the merchants who continue to disagree about crop prices. The merchants are deemed to have cheated the farmers using contractual agreements that ensure merchants pay the farmers a significantly lower price than the fair value of the crops. When the farmers tear up the agreements in anger, the merchants threaten that the farmers will be forced to deal with them once again. Dadisa is suspicious of some of the farmers who continue to converse with the merchants. She instructs the other farmers to place all their crops in a certain field overnight as new merchants from Jaipur will be arriving to inspect them tomorrow and will offer a fair price for them.
Misfortune strikes when the harvested crops are set on fire and the farmers grieve their loss. The cheating merchants watch on in delight. Dadisa instructs everyone to follow her and she reveals that the harvest is actually safe and sound. She reveals that she arranged for useless items to replace the harvest as she had a feeling that something would go wrong. She also brings forth the captured arsonist who confesses that it was the merchants who paid him to burn the crops.
Jagya arrives with the police to arrest the merchants and the farmer who helped them by telling them where the crops were stored etc. Dadisa and Jagya emphasise to everyone that every person has a civic duty to ensure that Jaitsar is a safe and just place to all. The next day, the villagers approach Dadisa and then Basant and Bhairon to stand for the next elections as they do not wish for a corrupt person to be elected. All three of them decline and everyone is concerned as the deadline for nominations is tomorrow. Dadisa asks Jagdish if he will stand for elections and after some initial hesitancy he agrees.
Everyone gets involved in getting Jagdish's campaign materials ready. Heth Singh gloats that no one will stand against him and is shocked when Jagdish is declared an official candidate after submitting his nomination. After failing to discourage Jagdish from campaigning, Heth Singh swears that he will destroy Jagdish's reputation.
The campaign begins in earnest and it looks like momentum is building for Jagdish until Heth Singh and minions attempt to besmirch both Jagdish and Anandi by framing their relationship as shameful since they were married once. Heth Singh's men arrange for riot to occur at Jagdish's rally and chaos ensues.
Anandi and Jagdish share a sweet conversation about how lucky they are to have their respective partners in their lives. Unfortunately Heth Singh strikes again by putting up morphed posters of Anandi and Jagya all across the village. Jagdish smartly handles the situation and makes the villagers realize that they should not just use their eyes but their brains as well when making judgements. But again, a riot ensues and villagers end up injured. This time it makes it into the news headlines. Dadisa regrets calling Anandi to help as because of this Anandi has to face questions about her integrity again. Anandi assures her that she will remain in Jaitsar until the matter is cleared up as Shiv has encouraged her to do so with his full support.
Udaipur :
The Shekhars continue giving thanks and celebrating Amol's safe return. Anandi and Shiv share some romantic moments together after the recent turmoil. An accident occurs that requires Shiv's presence at the hospital and he ends up finding Daddu's long lost sister amongst the injured. The family take Dadi Bua home to Kesar Bagh. They find out that she has been abandoned by her son who she raised alone after her cheating husband ran off.
Sanchi and Vivek settle into domestic life although it is not easy as Vivek is not having as many clients as before due to his marriage to Sanchi. With the intention of helping out, Ira begins gifting Sanchi with household items however this places a strain on the new couple as Vivek becomes upset that he is not able to provide for his own home.
Anandi is surprised to hear of Jagdish's election run from Dadisa. After checking with Shiv, Anandi agrees to Dadisa's request that she campaign on behalf of Jagdish. An archconservative and traditionalist Dadi Bua begins enforcing her expectations on the bahus (Ira, Meenu & Anandi) of the house. Realizing she will not understand Anandi's complicated past, the Shekhars attempt to divert and distract her from her questions regarding Jagdish. Dadi Bua is horrified seeing the news about the riot in Jaitsar and insults Anandi about being a divorcee. Dadu and Shiv severely reprimand her and say they have full faith in Anandi. Shiv calls Anandi and tells her to fulfill her duty to Jaitser by ensuring that Jagdish, who is an honest and worthy candidate, is elected to represent them.
