Anushka Sharma is gearing up to get into an action avatar as she gets ready to perform some adrenaline pumping stunts for her debut production NH10

Anushka Sharma may be in the news for her alleged romance with poster boy of Indian cricket Virat Kohli but that has not stopped her from preparing for her role of a producer for her debut film NH10. Anushka has been working round the clock to ensure that her film takes off on time.
Having just wrapped up her work on Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet, Anushka has been working doubly hard to ensure that all logistics are in place for her own film.
" When Anushka heard Navdeep Singh's script, she loved it so much that along with deciding to act in it, she even made up her mind to produce it. She is co- producing the film with Phantom Films. She really liked working with them in Bombay Velvet and Anushka decided that Phantom would be the best people to team up with.
After taking care of the initial logistics, she is now getting into the groove to prepare for her character.
Anushka is very gung- ho about doing her own stunts and wants to make sure she looks convincing while she does it, so she will not get into an extensive prep schedule. She is very keen that she gets to kick some butt and considering the script has some high octane action scenes, Anushka is super excited about her role in the film. Till now, she hasn't done any role that required her to be really athletic and agile so she is taking it as a challenge to play the part," a source says.
Anushka will now dive headlong into NH10. Being shot across the northern plains around Delhi, NH10 is scheduled to release on September 12 next year.
