RISHI  DIWAN and his wife INDIRA  RISHI  DIWAN are a very happily married couple of 5 years and 3 years ago,they were blessed with a little angel,their only daughter,NAINA  RISHI  DIWAN.Though Rishi and Indira are very very much in love with each other,but as it was always seen that a perfect relationship also requires a bit of spices so that the sweetness of the relation is maintained,just like that and proving that theory,Rishi and Indira often had a fight with each other.Most of the time,the concept of the fight was a silly one and when both of them fight,Naina just used to either toss her head towards both of them whenever one speaks or sometimes end up scolding both of them in her own language thus putting an end to their fight abruptly.That was the reason,their fight always ended without a winner.Sometimes,Rishi and Indira's fight used to cross all the limits and Indira's voice gradually rose high when she fights since whenever she was angry,she couldn't control her voice.At that time,due to her mother's loud voice,Naina used to get scared and used to start crying very loudly thus ending their fight in another alternative manner and then both Rishi and Indira had to do a lot of hardships to stop Naina's crying.When after a lot of hard work,Naina finally stops crying,Rishi and Indira promises each other that they will never fight,but everytime,they prove another theory that some promises are made to be broken.Rishi and Indira can stay for sometime without loving each other,but they can't even breath without fighting with each other,since not love,but fight is the foundation of their marriage.

                                                                                               One day,for some reason,Indira became very angry with Rishi and for that reason,she pledged that she will not prepare the dinner.Rishi,who returned from office that time,asked,"Indira ye kya hua??Ab kis vajah se gussa ho?"She almost screamed allowed,"Kis vajah se gussa hu??Bhul gaye na??Bhulakkar kahike!!!"He threw the bag on the sofa and asked,"Ab kya bhul gaya main?"She put her hands on her waist angrily and replied,"Kyu yaad nehi hai ke tumne hume promise kiya tha ke hum teeno aaj bahaar dinner par jaayenge aur isliye aaj tum ghar jaldi waapas aaoge.Par kya hua,tum as usual late hi huye na.Main puchti hu ke agar tum apna waada nibha nehi sakte ho to karte kyu ho?"Rishi remembered his promise today in the morning,where he promised Indira especially Naina that he would take them out on a dinner.On remembering,he closed his eyes with disgust and then he held Indira's hands and said,"Look Iam so sorry!!Aaj office mein itna kaam tha na ke bas...Mujhe please maaf kardo."Indira removed her hands from his grip and replied,"Office mein kaam tumhaara har roz hota hai Rishi,par aaj to hadh hi hai!!!Tum Naina se kiya hua waada bhul gaye!!How could you???Bichaari shaam se bethi hai tumhaare liye."He again apologized and replied,"Iam saying na Iam sorry...Please mujhe maaf kardo na Indira."He caged her in his arms and very lovingly replied,"Iam sorry meri Hitler biwi,ab bhul gaya na.Ab boss ne itne saare files dekar mujhe bitha diya,main bhi kya karta aur phir kaam ke chakkar mein baat dimaag se hi bahaar nikal gayi."Indira smiled to him and then pushed him away and replied,"Maafi maangni hai na to apni beti jaakar mango.Tum uske asli gunehgaar ho."Rishi nodded his head and replied,"You're right main Naina se jaakar bhi ke abhi maafi maangta hu.Dekhna vo zarur maan jaayegi."Indira made a face to him and followed him inside to their bedroom.

                                                                                           Inside their bedroom,Naina had already heard Rishi's voice while he was talking with Indira outside in the hall.Rishi,on reaching his bedroom,found that Naina was looking angrily at her and was standing on the bed.He walked towards her with a smile and asked,"Papa ki gudiya...Kaisi hai meri little angel???"The moment Rishi tried to hold her,she pushed his hands away and angrily said,"Ganne papa!!!"Rishi,made an ignorant face and asked,"Kyu papa ganne kyu hai??Papa to tumse kitna pyar karte hai na?"Naina widened her little eyes as if trying to scare Rishi and said,"Aaj aapne kaha mudhe ghumi ghumi kanne lekal jaoge.Mujhe aap aich-ceam khilaaoge,toccat khilaaoge,pal aap bhuggaye aur dei kakke aaye.Ichiliye ganne papa!!"She folded her arms and turned her face away from him angrily.Rishi held his ears and then said,"Iam sorry Naina!!Dekho papa ne kaan pakra hua hai Naina ke saamne.Papa ko maaf kardo."Naina,instead of forgiving him,said to Indira,"Mamma,papa ko bolo,Nanna(Naina) papa che katti hai!!"Indira agreed to Naina and replied,"Right!!Naina hi nehi balki Naina ki mamma bhi papa se katti hai.Hum dono papa se bilkul bhi baat nehi karenge."Rishi narrowed his eyes and looked at Indira and said,"I know!!!Mujhe ye bohot achche se pata hai ke Naina ko mere khilaaf tumhine bharkaaya hai.Tumhe to hamesha mujhe sataane mein bohot maza aata hai na??Khud to tum mujhse hamesha jhagra karne ke liye ek taang par khari rehti ho aur ab meri beti ko bhi mere khilaaf uksa rahi ho."He taunted her and replied,"Sharam karo!!!Agar aisi tasveer tum apni beti ke saamne apni banaaogi na to vo bari hokar tumhaari jaisi jhagraalu hi banegi."Indira was enraged on hearing this and said,"Main jhagraalu hu???Main???Bol to aise rahe ho jaise jab main jhagarti hu tumhaari to zabaan tak nehi khulti hai mere saamne.Billi bane ghumte ho na tum mere aagey?"Before,Rishi could protest,Indira continued,"Aur ha ek baat aur,meri beti mere jaisi banegi ya nehi,mujhe nehi pata,par main is baat ka pura dhyaan rakkhungi ke usey tumhaare jaisa pati na miley."Rishi grinned and replied,"Shukar manaao,ke tumhe mere jitna achcha husband mila hai,varna tumhaari jaisi aurat ko to kabhi koi dhang ka larka milta hi nehi.Vo to meri kismat phooti hui thi jo main phas gaya."Indira raised her finger to give an appropriate answer but Naina yelled out,"Mamma papa aaap!!"She looked angrily at both her parents and said,"Mamma papa dono ganne hai.Jhagga kattei lehte hai."Rishi said,"Kyuki tumhaare papa bohot achche hai na isliye aur mamma bohot zyaada jhagraalu."He ignored their fight and said,"Achcha chalo,jaldi se mamma aur Naina dono tayyar ho jaao,papa aaj dono ko bahaar dinner par lekar challenge."Naina became very happy on hearing that Rishi would take them outside.He tried to pull Naina in his arms as she seemed to be very excited and happy,but Indira,at the right moment,quickly pulled Naina back and said,"Kyu hum dono ko tumne samajh kar kya rakkha hai ke jab tum utha kar le jaana chahoge,hum tumhaare peeche peeche chal denge???No way!!Aakhir hamaari bhi koi izzat hai ke nehi??Hum kahi nehi jaayenge!!"Rishi made a face to Indira and said,"Tumhe nehi jaana hai shaukh se mat jaao,main apne saath Naina ko lekar jaaunga.Naina tum chalogi na papa ke saath??"He looked at Naina and asked her.She looked confused as she didn't want to let go the offer which her father gave to her of going out and having chocolates and ice-creams and on the other hand,she didn't want leave her mother behind.She had a big tussle inside between her brain and heart and at last,her love for her mother won.Naina immediately hugged her mother and said,"Mamma nei talegi to Nanna bi nei daayegi(jaayegi)."Indira gave a victorious smile by hugging Naina and making Rishi jealous and offended both at the same time.

                                                                                            Rishi looked at them and asked,"To ab mere liye kya sazaa hai?"Naina gave a confusing look to Indira and said,"Mamma???"Indira understood that Naina didn't get anything.She explained her,"Baba dekho,papa ne humse promise kiya,par vo bhul gaye,to papa ne mistake ki hai na to papa ko to ek punishment milni hi chahiye.Hai na??"She looked at Rishi and continued,"To ab tumhe iske liye sazaa bhi milegi."He gave a sigh and asked,"Achcha thik hai bolo kaisi sazaa?"Indira replied,"Tumne hume promise kiya tha bahar dinner karwaane ka magar tum bhul gaye aur tumhaare vajah se maine ghar mein khaana tak nehi banaya hai,to ab isliye,aaj raat ka dinner tum banaaoge aur vo bhi bina kisike madat ke."His eyes widened and mouth remained opened.He almost screamed,"Kya???Main???Aur khaana???Are you mad??"She casually replied,"To kya hua???Nehi bana sakte?"He said,"Ek baar khaana banaya tha aur uske baad vo khaana kha kar tumhine bola tha ke "Rishi zindagi mein chahe kuch bhi karna par life mein kabhi khaana mat banana" aur ab tumhi mujhe khana banaane ko bol rahi ho??"She replied,"Koi baat nehi,tum jaisa khaana banaaoge main kha lungi kamsekam aaj mujhe khaana banaane se to chutti milegi na."Rishi joined his hand and almost pleaded,"Please Indira,chahe mujhse koi bhi kaam karwaalo,par ye khaana mat banwaao.Dekho har kisiko har kisam ka kaam karna nehi aata hai.Mujhe bhi thik usi tarah se khaana banaana nehi aata hai..."She cut him in the middle and said,"Don't worry Naina ke papa...isme main tumhaari madat to kar hi sakti hu.Ek minute..."She opened the wardrobe and took out a book and gave it to Rishi and said,"Ye lo yaha bohot saare items ki recipies hai,inme se jo tumhe achcha lage vo tum banaalo aur ha saath mein rotiya bhi bana lena aur khaana banaane ke baad kitchen bhi achchi tarah se saaf kar lena,dhyaan rakhna mere kitchen mein thori si bhi gandagi nehi honi chahiye."Rishi gave an angry look to Indira and grinned,"Jis ghar mein tumhaari jaisi biwi ho waha dushman paalne ki zarurat nehi hai."Indira gave a broad smile and replied,"Well I take that as a complement!!"Rishi pouted and took the book from Indira's hand and asked,"Achcha...Naina ke liye kya banaana hai?"She replied,"Uske liye patli dal aur chaawal bana dena."He squeezed his nose and said,"Hamaare liye itna achcha khaana aur Naina ke liye dal chaawal???So mean!!"She replied,"To kya usey main hamaara khaana khilaau???3 saal ki hai vo aisa khaana khaayegi to pet kharaab ho jaayega uska.Jab bari ho jaayegi tab khilaaungi.Samjhe???Abhi jaao!!"He gave a deep helpless sigh and left from there.At first he kept the book on the base near the gas and then called Indira again.She arrived there and asked,"Kya hai??Maine kaha na ke main tumhaari koi bhi madat nehi karungi??"He said,"Khaana banaane mein madat nehi chahiye bas sirf itna bolo ke kaunsa samaan kaha rakkha hua hai?"She told him everything and showed what is kept in which place and then left from there.Rishi tied the apron around his body and said to himself,"Chal beta Rishi,ab kismat se jab aisi biwi mil hi gayi hai,phooti kismat lekar ab agar tu paida ho hi gaya hai to koi kya kar sakta hai.So.lag ja beta kaam par!!"He then according to the recipy slowly arranged everything.

                                                                                                    In their bedroom,though Indira was watching TV in a relaxed position,but all her attention was there in the kitchen.That was not because of her immense love for Rishi that her husband was cooking after coming home tired was cooking dinner for them but she was worried more of the fact what and how would he cook and will that be consumable or not.She was much more worried about Naina,since if something she didn't find tasty then even God wouldn't be able to make Naina consume that food.So,just in order to keep an eye on him,she planned to notice him secretly.The moment she decided to go to the kitchen,she dropped the idea and then thought of Naina sending to the kitchen and she herself would keep an eye on him from the hall.Indira took Naina and made her sit on her lap and said,"Naina tumhe pata hai aaj na papa khaana banaane gaye hai par unko na achcha khaana banaana aata hi nehi."Naina put her finger on her lip and gave a very worried look and replied,"To Nanna aul mamma kaiche khaayenge??"Indira agreed to her and then said,"Main jaanti hu par na mamma ke paas iska ek solution hai.Tum jaakar dekho ke papa kya karte hai aur aakar mamma ko bataao,par ha papa ko mat bataana ke maine tumhe waha bheja tha.Thik hai??"She nodded her head and jumped out of the bed and ran straight towards the kitchen.On seeing her in the kitchen,Rishi said,"Naina beta yaha kya kar rahi ho jaao mamma ke paas."Naina asked,"Papa kya kal lahe ho?"He replied,"Main khaana bana raha hu,papa,mamma aur Naina ke liye."Naina remembered her mother saying Rishi could not cook food.So she said,"Papa ganna kakke mat banaana nei to mamma guchcha kaegi."Rishi nodded his head very obediently.After that,Naina observed Rishi for sometime and then ran to her mother and gave her the latest information and said,"Mamma papa na ek thote che bok che(chote se box se) yellow powdel nikaala aul ek bae che bok mein daal diya."Indira said,"Ooo!!Aisa kiya papa ne...ok."She understood that Rishi applied some turmeric on the food.Like that,within every 2 minutes,Naina was running in the kitchen and then returning to her mother.At last after cooking,Rishi poured some flour on a bowl to make bread.But while trying to open the box of flour,it opened suddenly making some of the flour falling on the ground.On seeing that,Naina again ran to her mother and said,"Mamma mamma,papa ne ek bae che bok che itta chaala powdel liya pal vo na gil gaya aur chab ganna ho gaya."Indira kissed on her cheeks and said,"Ganna kar diya papa ne???Koi baat nehi,vo phir se sab saaf kar denge."After almost one hour,Rishi called Indira and Naina for having their dinner.After coming out of the bedroom,Indira went towards Rishi and said,"Naina ke liye jo banaya hai vo zara mujhse taste karwaao pehle."He gave her Naina's food and Indira found that instead of pulse-rice,he had prepared khichdi for her.He said,"Mujhe thik se uska waala dal-chaawal banaana nehi aaya,to maine khichdi bana di..."Indira gave an angry gaze to him and he stammered,"Ma-ma-maine bo-bohot patli kh-khichdi banaayi hai aur usme namak bhi zyaada nehi daala hai."She still tasted that and said,"Achcha banaya hai.Naina nakhre nehi karegi khaate time."He asked her to serve the food and to take a shower first and then three of them together will have dinner.

                                                                                               Rishi took a long shower to drain away all the dizziness of office,especially after cooking of food.When he reached the hall,he found Indira and Naina both were waiting for him for having dinner.Naina asked,"Mamma papa ne mee liye kya banaaya?"Indira replied,"Papa ne apne Naina ke liye khichdi banaya hai."She widened her eyes and asked,"Khiththi???Mamma jitna tatty(tasty) banaya?"Rishi replied,"Ab ye baat to Naina ko khichdi taste karne ke baad hi pata chalega na.Chalo,papa ke haatho se khaayegi na Naina?"He took a spoonful of the khichdi and gave that to Naina and she took it from his hand and said,"Booottt tatty hai.Bikkul mamma jaicha...Nehi...mamma ka jyaada aththa hai."Indira smiled proudly and then Rishi on seeing that said,"Ha ha mamma ka to hamesha hi achcha hota hai na.Mamma to Naina ki favourate hai.Hai na?"Naina nodded her head.Rishi then said to Indira,"Ab zara tum bhi taste karke dekho ke kaisi bani hai."Indira replied,"Pata nehi aaj kaunsa bhayaanak khaana banaya hai tumne.Mujhe to chakhte huye bhi dar lag raha hai.Actually mujhe na alternative intezaam karke rakhna chahiye tha."Rishi became very angry on hearing her taunts.He said,"Ek to thaka haara kaam se waapas aao aur phir khaana banaao aur phir...biwi ki aisi jali kati baate sunne ko milti hai.Itni mehnat ki hai uski to koi qadar hi nehi hai."He turned away his face from Indira very angrily,but Indira gave a smile,in turn and replied,"Achcha achcha thik hai ab zyaada muh banaane ki zarurat nehi hai.Vaise bhi apni is haalat ke zimmedaar tum khud hi ho.Na to tum apna promise bhulte aur naahi tumhe ye sab karna parta.Ab isme meri koi galti nehi hai."Rishi angrily replied,"Ha hamesha galti to sirf mujhse hoti hai.Tum to kabhi kuch karti hi nehi ho."Indira squeezed her eyes and replied,"Rishi khaane ke table par phir se start mat karo."He said,"Start main karta hu?Tum to kuch nehi bolti."Seeing Rishi and Indira were about to start their fighting again,Naina angrily screamed aloud,"Aaap!!!Ganne mamma papa!!Jhagga phichche(phir se) shuru kaddiya.Nanna katti mamma papa che!!"Naina angrily folded her arms and looked at both of them.Rishi winked at Indira and Indira said to Naina,"Ale mela baby,mamma papa to acting acting khel rahe the,varna Naina ke saamne vo dono thore hi jhagar sakte hai.Hum dono ko achche se pata hai ke Naina ko gussa aata hai aur vo nazar ho jaati hai,isliye mamma papa nehi jhagrenge beta."Rishi too agreed and said,"Ha mamma papa to aise hi mazaak kar rahe the.Ab dekho,papa ne Naina ke liye khaana banaya hai na,agar Naina nehi khaayegi to papa ko achcha nehi lagega na."Naina felt very sorry for her father and said,"Na na Nanna khaayegi na.Mamma khilaao."Indira smiled and fed Naina.After Naina completed her dinner,she was sent to the bedroom and then Rishi and Indira started having her dinner.Indira tasted the food and then she found that it was indeed very tasty.She said,"Khaana achcha bana hai vaise."Rishi replied,"Sab kuch kitab mein jaise likha hua tha vaise hi banaya hai,naap tol kar.Na kuch zyaada,na kuch kam."Indira suddenly gave an intense look to Rishi and got up from her seat.She walked towards him and then suddenly surprising him sat on his lap.Rishi was a bit scared and in a trembling voice said,"3-saal-ki-beti-hai-hamaari..."She put her finger on his lips and in a husky voice replied,"Ssshhh!!!Beti hui to kya hua...usse..."She brought her face closer to him and said,"Usse mere aur tumhaare beech...to...kuch nehi badal jaata."She winked at him and continued,"Hai na???"Rishi gave an evil smile in return.

                                                                                          Naina,while playing with her doll,fall asleep all by herself.In the middle of the night,she suddenly woke up but didn't find her parents by her side.she was very scared on seeing that.She called,"Mamma papa???Mamma papa!!!"Naina came down of the bed and searched for her parents everywhere inside the room and even under the bed but she didn't find them.She then became very scared and ran out of the room and searched in the hall,but there was no trace of them.Naina,then slowly folded her lips and started crying.Gradually,her weeping converted to cry in a loud tone.She looked here and there and thought that her parents were lost.On the other side,Rishi and Indira were sleepin in each other's arms in another of their bedroom after a tiresome love making session.Both had fallen asleep forgetting that Naina was alone in their bedroom.Suddenly,in her deep sleep,Naina's crying voice entered Indira's ears.On realizing that Naina had woke up,Indira jumped up on the bed and covered herself with the blanket.She tried to wake Rishi up who was sleeping like dog in a senseless manner.Indira was very irritated on seeing him like that and she pushed and pushed him but no use.At last,a frustrated Indira pushed him so hard that he fall from the bed and yelled,"Kya hua??"On hearing the shout,Naina ran towards that direction and knocked on the door and said,"Papa???Mamma???Nanna ko dal lag laha hai."Rishi told Indira,"Kaha tha na ke hamaari ek 3 saal ki beti hai.Dekho vo uth gayi."Indira said to Rishi,"Ab main kya karti,aakh lag gayi na.Par...ab aisi haalat mein uske saamne kaise jaayenge?"Rishi said,"Tum washroom mein jaakar change karo tabtak main usko dekhta hu."Indira immediately picked up her clothes and almost ran inside the washroom and Rishi immediately slipped into his clothes and then opened the door and found Naina crying measurably.On seeing her,he felt very sorry and then picked her up in his arms and said,"Ooo mera bachcha ro raha hai.Na na mera baby brave hai na rote nehi hai."Indira too came out and on seeing her Naina opened her arms to go to her mother's arms and in a crying tone said,"Main uth gayi aul dekha ke mamma papa nei hai.Nanna dal gayi,maine aapko dhundha,pal mamma papa kayi nei miley."Indira hugged her daughter and said,"Awww!!!Mamma papa very very sorry.Aaj ke baad vo Naina ko akela kahi nehi chorenge.Chalo,mamma Naina ko sula degi."Rishi and Indira took Naina alongwith them to their bedroom.She sang a lullaby for Naina and she slowly again fall asleep,lying close to Indira.She then looked at Rishi and then just by moving her lips,she said,'I-love-you.'and Rishi too conveyed her the same.
