Neha stepped into limelight with her Auditions for Indian Idol 4. Though selected in auditions, she could not progress further.Neha, then was spotted on a Youtube clip by the well known producer Rajan Shahi to play Nivedita in Chand Chupa Badal Mein. ( June 2009 to June 2010) aired on Star Plus Her potrayal of shy, demure soft spoken Nivedita touched many hearts and won many fan following.After that she acted in many shows like haar jeet,ramayan,ye hai ashiqui,punarvivaah,savdahn india and currently portraying the role of aditi in iss pyaar ko kya naam doon ek bhar phir..
she stole our hearts with her beautiful smile and sweet voice in her first appearance on tv itself...even though she got selected she cudn't continue further because of an accident...but it proved lucky for neha as someone uploaded her audition video on youtube and director rajan shahi impressed with her and casted her as the lead in his show chand chupa badal mein..
Neha made her television debute with Director Cut's show Chand chupa Badal Mein on star plus..She proved that there is no need of any acting experience to become a great actress. she portrayed the role of nivedita with so much of ease..nivi's innocence, pain, agony, happiness everything was safe in the hands of our sweet neha...till now her fans r cherishing each moment of nivi's journey in ccbm...
After a hiatus, Neha returned as Ishita in Haar Jeet aired on Imagine TV. she played a bubbly and ambitious girl with a liitle bit of grey shades there..versatility is the most important quality needed by any actress and neha played a role which was extremely opposite to her earlier character nivi...The show ended soon due to closure of the channel...
After that neha done a cameo in the popular TV show Punar Vivah as Neelam.She played the daughter of a minister in that show..
Then Neha stepped in Zee TV's mythological show Ramayan as the main character of Sita - Ram's consort. She has been very well appreciated for her graceful and elegant potrayal of one of the greatest epical character of Sita.
After Ramayan She appeared in producer Rajan Shahi's " Savdhan India Maha movie" aired on Life Ok..On the show, she played the character Madhu..
she was recently seen in one of the episodes of Ye Hai Aashiqui aired on UTV Bindaas as Shruthi..She played as a hostage who inadvertently falls in love with her captor.her character was similar to alia bhatt's character in the film highway..
Neha recently entered Iss Pyaar Ko kyaa naam doon ek bhar phir as aditi..articles indicating that the role is a cameo..
