Hi guys, sorry it's going to be a brief update today 😊
Draupadi says she will not marry a charioteer's son, and Karna is left speechless, still holding the bow and arrow. The sun begins to burn brightly and heat up the arena. Duryodhan is outraged and calls Draupadi arrogant. He says that Drupad only designed the swayamvar to continue the enmity between Kurus and Panchals. Draupadi says that this is a lie, as she didn't know anything about their enmity. Draupadi says that if she had any kind of impure thoughts or reasoning then Suryadev can burn her to ashes. Hearing her words, the sun calms down and returns to normal.
Duryodhan is still angry and challenges Draupadi that if she has decided to marry, it must be at this swayamvar only, and with someone who can shoot the target. Duryodhan scoffs that there is nobody left who can do this, and he decides to break the swayamvar bow. He lifts it but as he tries to bend and break the bow, it breaks free from his grasp and cuts his hand. Krishna claims that this proves that it is not the bow's time to be destroyed yet, and that the one who will lift it and shoot the target is somewhere nearby.
The Pandavas arrive in the arena. Draupadi and Krishna both notice Arjun. Draupadi asks Krishna if a princess can marry a brahmin. Krishna says yes, only if she wishes so. Draupadi asks Krishna to open up the competition to brahmins. Krishna asks Drupad to make the announcement, but Drupad is worried, since Draupadi is meant to be a Queen, not a brahmin's wife begging for alms. Krishna reassures him, saying that if Draupadi's fate is to be a Queen then maybe she has the power to turn a brahmin into a King.
Precap: Arjun lifts the swayamvar bow and gets ready to shoot the eye of the fish.
