Episode starts with Romi coming in saying that Raman has come.. Everyone happy.. Mihir says Raman slept in car which shocks Bhalla's.. Raman says i didnt sleep last night, then bhramhamuhurat, office, got tired so slept.. he says good mihir came and got me here on time.. Ishita is angry seeing mihir and the two sit in madap remembering their fight before agreeing for engagement.. Pooja starts with appa doing tilak and then pujari asks for ishu's brother.. simmi makes fun but bala steps in saying he's vandu's husband and her brother and does the ritual..Simmi does from Raman's side.. IshRa are asked to sit beside and amma does aarti.. Pujari says engagement is over but Mrs bhalla says it can without ring exchange.. Appa says he's got and gives it to ishu..
Ishu sees that Raman has a ring already and Mrs bhalla asks him to take off his first marriage ring.. Ishu finally puts the ring while Simmi taunts about their taste calling it old fashioned.. Mrs Bhalla asks Raman for the ring when he says he forgot.. Mrs Bhalla says she will give her khandani ring when ishita asks her to let it be.. Raman says he does have a ring and asks Mihir to bring his coat.. Raman takes out the ring Ruhi made which makes ishita smile and she says its perfect.. Ishu asks pandit to do pooja of ring.. Raman makes ishu wear the ring and she is smiling seeing the ring with flashbacks.. ishu thanks him and says R for ruhi but raman corrects her saying Ruhi made for him so its R for Raman.. Ishu tells him that they are marrying for ruhi so its R for ruhi for her and asks what mihir is doing here??
Raman tells her that the real culprit surrendered so mihir was released being innocent.. Rumi is relieved hearing the same.. Mihir tells the Bhallas the same and that Raman had come previous night to meet him and also how he saw Raman sleeping in the car.. mr Bhalla, appa and mihir and bala.. bala leaves seeing mihir.. Mihir says sorry for coming but he came only for raman and that he will leave if they have problem but appa asks him not to be as he's sure he is innocent and he will speak with his family.. Mr bhalla and appa hug..
Vandu comes telling pandit is calling.. pandit asks families to decide on conditions like date which mrs bhalla decides and appa agrees.. Pandit asks where ishu will stay and what her parents will have to give when raman and bhalla's say they dont take dowry.. amma puts forward her conditions that they will love ishu, let her continue her work, can let her study etc.. Mrs bhalla agrees to all that only if Ishita will take care of ruhi and love her.. pujari announces that marriage will be in kalyan mandap..
next morning, Ashok asks Shagun to be ready for dinner when shagun says she cant come as she has to be with ruhi.. Ishita calls when shagun asks about engagement..ishu tells about a ladies function at home and asks if ruhi can come? Shagun agrees and says she will drop ruhi in evening and congratulates her.. Shagun says ishu always solves her problems when ashok says they can call ishu here for ruhi needs a maid..
Vandu and mihika are planning for evening making mrs iyer irritated.. there's a nok-jhok between them for mihika vandu want bollywood while mrs iyer wants only south indian songs.. Amma says that she will make bhalla's dance on south indian songs to which appa, vandu and mihika laugh..
