Ah K - this is indeed going to turn out to be a heart-wrenching read. Worse than those who die over land and power, are those who are snatched away from family and hope and left to live under torture that feeds nothing but the animal in man that refuses to become extinct even as civilization advances.

Bring them on, K as I ready myself for the tears that I know will come - Nothing worse than hopelessness and that is what really really scares me about war!

I really like the concept of love letters. And this was a lovely letter full of yearning and passion and the pain of separation.

Thanks for reading this. This is a completely new writing experience for me. The inspiration for this comes from a book I'm reading on the subject of prisoners of war- how emotional isolation affects them more than the physical torture itself.

Paro's letter will be up tomorrow.
