Akbar in Jodha Akbar is shown gentle but in Maharana Pratap he is shown as some cruel, lusty guy. One serial portrays him as a very good man, and the other just the opposite...Trying to differentiate between the fact and fiction...

I have some old PMs of Abhay of last few months...and here is what I could make out of it...with some bit of my knowledge also.


Fatima, the mother name in "Jahangirnama" was given as Bibi Pungrai not Ruqaiyya..but the fascination runs so deep that even here the mother is said to be Ruqaiyya Begum, as per what I read just now...!!!
jo ye bhi nahi mante ki Salim ki maa was MUZ, because in "Jahangirnama" no where Salim says that MUZ is his mother..he mentions MUZ's name with respect at many places, but does not mentions the name of his mother..😆"Jahangirnama's" details have been tampered..the conspiracy runs quite deep...come out of "Jahangirnama" and give a fresh search...few people did and they got results!
It is advised instead of reading "Jahangirnama" and "other historians", one starts putting in own efforts without any prejudice.🥱

Abhay told me he had access to only some Amer archives, after lot of attempts, it is mentioned clearly that..the news of birth of twins was celebrated with great happiness in Amer..and when the twins died, they Royal House of Amer, went in deep mourning...The title of Malika-e-Muezama was given to Jodha after 4 years of death her twin sons.

More than above proof won't be required I feel.

He is still after those archives..but he is absent now..from the forum.. I wish he was here to provide the info and raise some curtains
Instead of clearing confusion and working together I fail to see why wrong info is repeated again and again from same "Jahangirnama"..!!🤢

having said all this, "Jahangirnama" is crap-worthy...there is life out of this document also...take a break and spare us from Jahangir and his Namas.🤢
One needs to read other documents also...and for that, u need to travel a lot...

Abhay's posts prove this point strongly with dedication...he even took pictures of "Jahangirnama" and posted and explained painfully to show how these are contradictory and wrong at places as per the translator himself...to search and get to the roots a lot of travel is needed...and i thank Abhay and Kamal Di for posting all the info for us which they acquired after a variety of reading and through many people...they are an asset to our forum..⭐️👏
