Kapil Sharma and Mandira Bedi to host CCL Super Innings 4

Cricket League has roped in India's current comedy craze, Kapil Sharma, and the perky television presenter, Mandira Bedi, to host the Super Innings of Season 4. This season has a unique format, with celebrities playing the game and entertaining their fans across eight film industries. The league adds further entertainment with this offbeat pair, who comes together for the very first time as emcees. "Cricket in our country is as much entertainment as it is sport. With Super Innings, the entertainment quotient will be upped with a huge dose of comedy. I don't know how I will host the show with Kapil on my side because he is the funniest man I know," says Mandira.

Kapil quips, "Having Mandira as my cohost is terrific as she is an all-rounder, right from cricketing shots to cheerleader poses to plucking of eyebrows." He adds, "This is a venture that unites Bollywood and other regional film industries together. Here, heroes and villains will play the same game. And, of course, the brand ambassadors are the best-looking ever."

The duo will be travelling with teams and will interact with spectators at the stadiums every weekend. The Mumbai kickoff at DY Patil Stadium is at 3pm on January 25.
