Hello Guys... Here I am with the 1st poem of the thread. Hope you will all read, like, feel and comment on it π³..
THE INDESCRIBABLE PAIN
Stranded and alone stood a brave heart,
People's gaze shifting to the middle of the road,
Witnessing a one-to-four deadly combat,
He showed bravery more than words can afford.
Bullets flew with mighty speed, to and fro,
"Safeguard the girl" was his only aim,
Into the chest, near the head, pierced the bullets,
The hero fell at the end of the game.
A paralyzing chillness down the team's spines,
Hands are quivering, driving is reckless,
Horror-stricken eyes and excruciatingly painful,
Seeing him on the road, motionless.
Daya ran for what seemed a mile, to Abhijeet,
Tears of loss and pain, down his cheeks, endlessly flowing,
Arms gripped around with his pale face on the shoulders,
With every passing second the pain kept growing.
Abhijeet lay in his crying arms, breathless
Unaware of the pain traumatizing him.
The leader too shell-shocked for words.
Looking at the corpse, lifeless and grim.
A quick, sudden movement, a gasp,
Eyes half-opened informing his presence.
Stretched unconscious on a stretcher to the hospital,
In front of Daya's eyes only Abhijeet's countenance
Post operation out came the doctor,
Saddening silence for what seemed to be days,
The pain of truth piercing them like a pointed arrow
Horror and pain were all that showed on Daya's face.
A month later, in the bureau, Daya sat,
Turning one picture by one, reminiscing their memories,
Tons of joy, tears, smiles and fun together,
He wept recalling them, as sweet as cherries
Eyes wet and heartbroken, he uttered
"Coming past the door, updating upon the case,
A friend all ready at my single call he was"
Tears rolled down, as he uttered, on his face.
A moment of true friendship between our duo.
Upon every word uttered here, more pain did swarm.
One of the episodes of boundless, immortal friendship,
Is one of the most touching Abhijeet Ka Inteqaam'
