Draupadi to be born from flames in Mahabharat!

The most awaited twist of the mythological epic Mahabharat' is the arrival of Draupadi. Perhaps, the only character, who will instigate the downfall of an empire, is all set to strike silver screen with her elegant grace on Star Plus.

We are talking about the lavish epic tale Mahabharat' that has been ruling the charts on the channel Star Plus for a past few months. Yes, the most interesting part of the story telling has arrived as the show is all set to feature the birth of the famous female character of the story, Draupadi'.

Watch today's episode, which will tell you how king Draupad, played by Sudesh Berry, will be blessed with a son and a daughter, through the boon given by Rishis. His yagna will bestow his wish of a son Dhrishtadhyumna' followed by the graceful and dharmaparayana' daughter Draupadi', where the latter will be known to establish justice and dharma' in the world.

However, instead of being born as a child, Draupadi will be born as an elegant lady, already in her young age. She will emerge from the flames of the yagna and walk directly to her father, to seek his blessings. Although reluctant at first, the king will bless her and accept her on the advice of his wise counsel of Rishis. Also, Shikhanandini will introduce herself to Draupadi and will tell her that they both are sisters.

The young princess will be seen to be accepted in the royal palace, and given a set of fine garments and jewelry to adorn herself. She will be amused with her young state of adulthood and will be surprised on seeing children around. However, people will soon tell her that she's special and was not born to witness childhood.

The elegant and graceful princess aka Draupadi is to be played by the effervescent newbie Pooja Sharma', who has had a few ads to her credit. To watch a fresh face as Draupadi will not only be a huge challenge for her, but also for the makers, who have to get it right with the her first appearance.

Being an important epic character, her equation with the ongoing storyline, along with the audience, is what will retain the TRP of the show.
