I think they have added their own fiction like all the other shows and Ampreapali was known for her beauty not quite impressed with the actress here. 

specially voice of that actress is not good at all, why couldn't they take the girl urmila , earlier ganika who was sidharth's friend as amrapali? that girl looked better
