I am reletively new to IF and is not very aware of the meaning of these acronyms...please someone help me with..

FF is Fan Fiction

SS is what?

OS is what?

VM is what?

And how are they related or distinct?

It is One Shot means you write a scene or short situation ... mostly people write one shot inline with the show ka story line Eg: we all know Ulka is going to attack so if some one writes a singe scene on what happens next, that is one shot mostly one shot will not have a continuing story like FF
