Without Gutthi...the magic of show would be gone

As audience I like to see all good artistes together. I was watching an old episode of Comedy Circus where all of the digajj comedians were performing together in one act. Kapil, Krushna, Sudesh, Bharti etc. And it was such a delight to see them all!

It's really bad when such splits happen.

Gutthi was damn popular. My little sister loved it and always imitated it. In fact she did not know how to speak properly but started speaking properly as she tried to imitate Gutthi. Whenever this show is on, she only asks Gutthi aa rahi hai?

Sunil had his own quirky way of performing this character.

For me Gutthi was the best of all the other characters this show has (I am not counting Kapil as a character here). Way funnier than others.

I don't think Kapil can let an artiste leave just over limelight issues. In past he has done comedy videos with Jaspal Bhatti, Bhotu Shah and Bhalla etc. and I am sure he knows it's all a teamwork. He shouldn't let other elements create problems in his show. And please cut down interference of that channel also! Colors has lost it as they kick out even main leads from their cult shows of late! More than Kapil, I am suspicious of this channel and how it treats shows and actors! It's their luck that Comedy Nights has no other fresh or unique competition. They used to gloat over success of BV also but are now seeing how its ratings have been affected as soon as fresh and strong competition came in form of JA. Though they are still not at all reluctant in throwing out actors and sidelining main leads!

So many actors have had unceremonious exit from Colors' shows in this one and a half year or so. Channel needs to respect artistes and sentiments of loyal viewers also instead of letting this cycle go on like this.

Kapil is not character Sometimes he is boring ...Gutthi is always fresh with new drama.

I like all family members more then Kapil.

When he felt insecure with Sunil that in his own show other actor is more famous then him...he could not see that.

I am waiting for " THE GUTTHI'S SHOW " on Star Plus.

agree with u kapil can be boring and one dimensional but sunil's act was always fresh and funny

I think Kapil was 100 times better and more versatile in his past shows like Laughter Challenge, Comedy Circus and appearances in Raju Srivastav's show etc. Comedy Nights limited him because here he is also a host and interviewer. Not just a comedian. So he doesn't have the freedom to do more different and funnier stuff which he had earlier.

I don't like Kapil much when he cracks jokes with audience. I agree it looks like insult and sometimes I also feel it's scripted and even members from audience are pre-decided by Kapil who he will pick on.

I like him only when he is interacting with his family on stage. That's when he's at his best.

I also hate celebs and their lame attempts to sound funny or try to look unaffected by what Kapil and other comedians say to them. Sonu Nigam was the only celeb who himself also rocked it with the comedians. Other stars were totally boring and laboured in their attempt to fit in.
