Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi, Meri Bhabhi is a show about the lovely bond shared between a sister-in-law and daughter-in-law. Shraddha the nanad finds a friend in Kritika her bhabhi.Kritika plays a significant role in the life of Shraddha and shows her how to live with her head held high in difficult circumstances.
The Story starts off with Shraddha in Mumbai doing odd jobs to meet the needs of her and her son Dhruv. Its Zor's birthday and as usual he's waiting for shraddha's call. she does call him but doesnt reveal anything about Bobby her husband. Kritika fondly called kittu is a loving person and a dutiful bahu of the Shergill family. Anand her husband who isnt very romantic is sent to Mumbai for office work and he gives a surprise visit to Shraddha. Anand's surprise turns to be a shock when he gets to know what his sister is going through. Anand doesnt understand what to do and calls Kittu who asks him to bring her back.
There is an emotional breakdown of Zor but kittu supports him assuring things to be fine. There is a grand welcome for Shraddha and Dhruv. Shraddha who once was against her step mom Amrit somewhere now started feeling for her as may be she was right about Bobby and that she shouldnt have ran away with him. While Zor and Anand are searching for Bobby, Jaya Shraddha's second Bhabhi, wife Of Ashish informs Kamini (Kittu's Mother) of the arrival of Shraddha and about her condition. In order to cheer shraddha up the family decides to go on a picnic before which zor, mummy and kittu meet bobby's aunt asking about his whereabouts but she just ignores them. During the picnic shraddha gets a call from bobby but the line gets cut before she could speak. Later again he calls up and this time she asks him to come home. Bobby finally comes to shergill house, wherein there is a confrontation with zor.
everyone except anand finally forgives bobby. Anand who still believes all his tears is just a drama asks a friend of his to investigate on bobby. Bobby here, manages to convince the entire family into taking shraddha back to mumbai and to keep her happy. everyone except Amrit and Anand agree and shraddha thinks that they both are wrong especially amrit as Shraddha feels it might be her words that came true last time. Bobby talks about having some financial problems and kittu to bring peace and happiness in the family, lies to her mom of anand wanting money and gives the same to bobby without telling anyone.
The day of departure arrives but bobby is nowhere to be found. Anand gets his friends call who tells him about some cases against bobby and that he's in mumbai. Anand takes shraddha there where she sees the true colours of bobby. She comes back and has a breakdown declaring wanting a divorce. Anand approaches his college friend Jas and asks her to file a case against bobby. Meanwhile its Kittu and Anand's 2nd Marriage anniversary which they decide to celebrate. Kamini calls up shraddha asking her not to come but upon insistence from everyone she ends up agreeing to come. Anand unknowingly gives that set which kittu's mom had made for her to shraddha. At the party when kamini sees this she and her friends insult shraddha which mummy is unable to bear and stands up for her daughter. Shraddha finally realizes her mistake and apologizes to mummy.
the next morning, kamini comes to apologize and accidently blurts out about giving money to kittu for anand but when anand denies any such thing, they make out that kittu had given that money to bobby. The entire family gets angry with her but she convinces all. Here anand takes Shraddha to Jas where she signs the papers to file in court. Meanwhile dhruv's admission is being worked out and on the day of his admission, Police come home to arrest shraddha as bobby has filed a case against her claiming the custody of dhruv. Jas comes to the police station and shraddha is freed. Shraddha and kittu head to school where after lots of convincing, dhruv is finally admitted. In the meanwhile Kunal, kittu's brother who is fun loving, comes from US and while shraddha is leaving home, Kunal plays a prank on her though the two dont know about each other's identity. Shraddha gets irked. They keep meeting a few times without knowing each other's identity.
After Kunal landed to India , his paths crossed shraddha's in some funny circomstances . Kittu was very happy to see her brother and so was Kamini on seeing her son but she started to "haunt" him with the topic of his marriage. Kunal showed his disinterest about it and took the topic non-seriously . In the same time , Bobby kept harassing Shraddha , threathning to make her life a living hell . The case against him still going on but not giving any postive results as Bobby kept taking the advantage of every situations. Meanwhile , Kunal and Shraddha started to bump in each other without knowing their "real" identities , their Nokh-Jhoks kept on while Shraddha started getting annoying , she told about it to Kittu who also started saying bad stuff about the guy , not knowing the fact that the guy is her brother . At Shergill's , problems made their entries with an influents Aashish by Jaya protesting against zor as according to them this last's beeing partial and under-estimating Aashish. Shraddha decided to do her stuff alone after some misunderstanding with kittu on the same where shraddha felt her family's over-protective nature toward her , showing her as a "weak" and "dependant" girl. She started dropping dhruv at school where Bobby tried to misbehave with her , Kunal came as a saviour to her . Bobby took the advantage of this fight to introduce kunal as shraddha's love interest .
Shraddha told Kunal to stay away from her when they bumped into each other . But both ended up knowing their real identities . Shraddha & kunal's got changed ater this while Jaya sensed some sparks between them and started reporting everything about them to Kamini . with The case not getting solved and with Shraddha's problems increasing , Kittu decided to meet Bobby to deal with it . Bobby asked for money in exchange of signing on the divorce papers . All the Shergill family including anand went against Kittu for taking this step but ended up agreeing with her .. the deal was done and shraddha got ride of Bobby . Furthermore , Shraddha and Kunal's bonding kept growing while kamini just couldn't stand this and accused shraddha for all this .. Amrit stood for her daughter and started behaving in a cold way with kunal who sensed this . Anand and Kittu's relation kept growing with anand listening to Jas's suggestion to make Kittu happy as she deserves it . Shraddha decided to maintain distance with Kunal to avoid any kind of problems . Anand suggested kunal to meet Jas & Kamini still kept harassing kunal to get him married but just few days after A restless kunal ended up realising his feelings for shraddha and understood that she was the girl he always waited for ...
