Jalal is indeed a complex man, unable to understand him at all. CVs, what are you upto? I was not happy when Jalal decided to give the fort as I thought it was against his character. But, then when he had a sneaky plan going on I was like okay you are not completely out of character. In my opinion it was very cruel to stoop to Achal singh's level and snatch the fort back from him immediately. But, then I am in awe again when Jalal understands the repercussions of his action and warns Achal singh about not hurting Sukanya. He is ready to kill Achal Singh, but stops immediately as per Jodha's request and his promise to her. I am panting for breath as I do NOT like roller coasters. Then, just when I thought the ride is ending he throws the bomb of returning the fort back as a gift to Sukanya. He leaves everyone in awe and astonishment. The whole point of this roller coaster ride was to prove that nobody can take him for granted. He did not want people to feel that they can manipulate him and get away with it, hence he snatched it right back. He returns it back because Amer earned it by being loyal and honoring his family.
Who could have thought that Jodha's chanakya act would make him come out with such a detailed and well thought plan. He has started to understand Jodha more and knew how she would react on the news of his taking the fort back. This time though he decided NOT to use his usual tactics of smirking and giving his dhansoo dialogs to quieten her. May be he saw a hope in their relationship when Jodha apologized and promised to stand by him. He liked the Jodha that put him and his family first. At a subconscious level it has mattered to him about what Jodha felt or thought about him. The subconscious desire surfaces up when he saw the chanakya Jodha. So far he has never seen Jodha show any respect towards him. Neither has she ever cared about Agra, all her concerns were only for Amer. May be the desire stayed deep because he did NOT want to be affected by the disrespectful Jodha. But when Jodha decided to respect him (and his family), he felt it was okay to admit that Jodha mattered to him. The best part I love about Jalal is his straightforwardness and frankness. He openly admits that Ameris opinion about him matters. He also confesses that he gave the gift to Mughal begum's sister. As usual Jodha disappointed me again. She does not thank him for any of this and just leaves as if nothing happened. I thought Jalal expected her to be happy if not be thankful. Even after the Kaali maa incident, he asked her be happy as I have fulfilled all your wishes and promises. Jodha ne to jaise kasam hi kha li hai Jalal ki kisi baat se na khush hone ki.
BTW, Jalal also said that he does not give anything (fort, fortune or love) unless that person has earned it. He clears the mis-perception of Jodha who thought he only believed in winning and not earning. In that case buddy, Jodha has not done anything to earn your love infact she is trying hard to not earn it. I know you are not completely there yet Jalal, but you are walking that road already. I feel in your case you need to know love does not need to be earned, it just happens. But, in order to win Jodha's love you do need to earn it. The entire animal kingdom did not help you in earning it. The natural calamities might help, so Shaguni sent Snow Storm. That does not seem to help either buddy, I asked Shaguni to send Bhookamp. That is on its way, so hold on tight..
Jodha continues to doubt Jalal's intention during night time. After so many nights together in Amer and many in Agra if Jalal wanted to force himself, there was no one to stop him. Jalal is busy admiring Jodha and may be humming this song in his head "Mana ho tum behad hasin, itne bure hum bhi nahin! Dekho kabhi to pyaar se, darte ho kyon ikraar se?". Little did he know that he needs to fear Jodha's temper. Jodha spots him looking at her so closely and immediately jumps to conclusion. Its beyond my understand as to why she would think Jalal would claim something that has been denied to him so many times in such ruthless manner. Any normal person would take it as an attack on their personality or values. If this is the way of defending her own developing feelings, I am sick of it. There are many other ways to hide your emotions, but bringing someone else down is not acceptable. Jalal cares too much, use farak padtha hai and hence gets her inside. What a bollywood nuska of curing Jodha. The only way to warm up Jodha is via Jalal's body heat, how convenient! Jalal is even more scared now, should he save Jodha and deal with her wrath or wait for some miracle to happen? Yep, its not going to be easy earning Jodha's love when she is ready to bite you on every decision you make.

- What did Ruqu find out, about the snow storm or something else? Why is she sending more help?
- Arggghhh, the cheapo MA feels Jalal will lose interest once he has played with Jodha. If only she knew about another kahavat, that ek baar kuch namukkin chakh lo to use baar baar chakhne ka man karta hai!
