See, basically you have to interpret the quote in your own way and bring out the given genre. while doing that you have to make sure that ArHi's characterization is the same as in the show. other than that you can change everything. Make Khushi rich make Arnav an african. It doesn't matter. Show that they fall in love at first sight, up to you!
