ArNika OS: Tera Mera Rishta Purana,ch3-pg2.. *completed*

Anika and Arjun were married almost for 1 year.They both got married under such circumstances,that,they always wish,not to ever dream about that situation.

Arjun still had differences with Anika,because she was totally fom another background.She has tried to adjust with him and his ways,but,to him,it was a failure.He never gave her the status of his legally wedded wife.


Once,a woman from their appartment colony asked her to keep the Karvachauth Vrat,as it is considered to be very auspicious for those women who observe it for the long life of their husband.
She happily obeyed what that Aunty said,with a smile on her face,but,deep down in her heart,she knew very well,that,he wont come to break her fast,she will be keeping for his Long Life.
A tear drop fell from her eye.

''Agar yeh Karvachauth ka Vrat rakhne se mere aur Arjun ke rishte mein kuch bhi sudhar asakte hai,toh,main yeh Vrat rakhne keliye taiyaar hu,'' Anika thought.

In the evening,Anika visited the ETF office.She greeted everyone.Everybody responded her,except Arjun.He was glaring at her.Rathod sensed this,but thought to let it go,as it is Arjun and Anika's personal matter.

Anika,with a lot of hesitance,asked Rathod,

''Sir,kya main Ayesha ji ko 2 ghante keliye shopping pe le jasakti hu?I promise,main Ayesha ji ko khud office pe chhor dungi,sahi time,'' Anika,seeking permission from Rathod.

''Sure.Why not? Ayesha,Anika ke saath jao and help her with shopping,aur haan,do shop for yourself,dear...Ok?'', Rathod told Ayesha.

Ayesha smiled at her husband's antics and blushed.

Anika,seeing the love between Ayesha and Rathod,became sad.Tears started to form in the corner of her eyes'.

Before anybody could ask,she asked Ayesha,

''Ayesha ji,yahaan pe washroom kahaan hai?I need to freshen up.If you dont mind,can I use your washroom?'' Anika asked Ayesha

''Ofcourse,dear.You can use it.Waise bhi,mujhe Ayesha ji kehke mat pukaro.Hum dono friends hai na,so? Call me Ayesha,from now onwards,okay?'' Ayesha said to Anika.

''Sure,Ayesha...'' Anika replied and Ayesha showed her the way to her washroom.

As Ayesha showed her the way to the washroom,her phone beeped and showed that,it was a message from Rathod.She told Anika from outside and went away.

In Rathod's Cabin.

Ayesha knocked Sameer's cabin and entered inside.

''Kya hua,Sameer? Apne mujhe bulaya?'' Ayesha asked.

''Ayesha,kuch toh garbar hai Rawte aur Anika ke rishte mein? I mean,mujhe kuch problem dikh raha hai undono ke beech mein.Didnt you notice,ki,jab Anika conference room mein aayi aur hum sabko usne greet kiya,we all greeted her back,but,Rawte didnt? Moreover,Rawte Anika ko aise ghurraha thha,ki,Anika koi criminal ho?Pata nahi kya chal raha hai?Kya Arjun aur Anika iss shaadi se khush hai?'' Rathod kept his observations and shared it with Ayesha.

''Hmm... Mujhe bhi yahi lagta hai,Sameer.Kuch toh zarur hai,jo humein nahi dikhraha hai.Pata kaise lagaye hum?'' Ayesha asks Sameer..

Both Ayesha and Sameer thinks about a solution.

''Sameer,kyun na main Anika se pata lagane ki koshish karu?'' Ayesha asks Sameer.

''Thik hai...Tumhe jo bhi thik lage,wohi karo... Btw,Happy Advance Karvachauth,wifey...'', Rathod told her.

Ayesha blushed and muttered a ''Thank You.''

Sameer: Ayesha,yeh meri aur tumhare taraf se Anika keliye Karvachauth ki gift.. Yeh karvachauth toh uski pehli karvachauth hai... I hope she will like it..

Ayesha(with a smile on her face): Bohut khush hogi dekhke and she will deffo like it.Accha,ab main chali.Anika must be waiting for me... Bye,Sameer...Love You,Sweetheart.

Sameer(with a smile on his face): Love You too,Ayesha...

Ayesha leaves from SameerLs cabin and goes with Anika for shopping.

Ch2.

As Anika and Ayesha were done with the shopping,both of them left for their home,but before that,Ayesha invited her for the Karvachauth Pooja that will be held in her and Sameer's house.She also gave her the gift that she and Sameer bought for her.

She was really happy to see that beautiful necklace.She thanked Ayesha and Sameer for the gift.

As they were on the way to their home,Ayesha even asked Anika,that,is there any problem going on with Arjun,but,Anika avoided the topic,giving an excuse of being happy in her married life.

Thinking it to be their personal matter,Ayesha thought about not to speak about that matter with Anika.But,she decided that she will talk with Sameer,about it.

In the evening.

Anika starts to get ready for the Karvachauth Puja,going to be held at Ayesha's place.She arranged everything in her Puja ki Thaal.After arranging it,she went inside the washroom to change into a red saree.

As she came out in the red saree,she saw Arjun sitting on his bed and reading a case file.Arjun came some 15 minutes ago,while Anika was changing in the washroom.

''Hoon... Toh Arjun andar aye thhe uss waqt..Drawer kheechne ki awaaz arahi thi,kyunki,unhone apni gun waha rakkhi hai,isiliye.'' Anika smiled at her thought.

She quickly kept the towel on the towel rack and went near her dressing table.She combed her hair and made a simple loose bun and pinned some Jasmine flowers to it.The fragrance of the flowers were slowly hitting Arjun's nose,because,he knew,it was Roshni's favorite flower and whenever there was any type of Puja,she would definitely adorn her hair bun with these.

Arjun smiled at that faint memory,but,came out of his thoughts,when he heard some muttering sounds.

''Uff... Yeh Mangalsutra bandh kyun nahi horaha hai.Kitni koshishe karli... Mujhe jaldi se taiyaar hoke Ayesha ke ghar jana hai.'' Anika,muttered slowly,as she was unable to tie the Mangalsutra around her neck.

''Lao.Main baandh deta hu..'' Arjun said.

Anika gave him the Mangalsutra and smiled,but,got a glare.She became scared.She stood quietly,as Arjun tied the Mangalsutra around her neck.

His sudden closeness,his touches were creating havoc,but she controlled her.

She was feeling happy,really happy.

''Yeh mat bhulna,ki,yeh ek Mangalsutra baandhne se aur maathe pe sindoor lagane se main tumhe apni patni hone ki saari aadhikar dunga.That right only belonged to Roshni.Aur tum kabhi Roshni nahi ban sakti.Uski tarha sajne savarne se tum Roshni nahi ban jaogi.Tum mere liye ek mamuli si larki ho.Woh toh sirf aur sirf Rathod ke kehne pe tumhare saath araha hu uske ghar,warna,mujhe yeh sab ekdum pasand nahi hai.It irritates me.'' Arjun said this to Anika in a harsh tone and goes inside the washroom to get ready.

Anika became shocked after hearing all this from Arjun.Tears fell from her eyes.But,she quickly wiped it and got ready again.She put on simple jewellery and applied sindoor on her parting of the forehead.

Both,Arjun and Anika got ready and left for Sameer's house.The ride was silent.Not a word spoken.Anika was thinking about the words Arjun told her.It was constantly ringing in her mind.Tear drops fell from her eyes and trickled down her cheeks.Today,her face lacked the glow of the married woman who keeps the Karwachauth Vrat for the first time.

Suddenly,a phone call broke the silence.It was Ayesha's call on Anika's mobile.She quickly wiped the tears and answered the call,saying her that they are on their way.

After few minutes,both,Arjun and Anika reached Sameer and Ayesha's place.As Anika was about to get down,she turned back and said, ''Kisi ke aastha aur vishwas pe ungli uthana,aapka haq nahi hai.''

Saying this,she went inside.

Arjun looked at her retreating form.For once,he was surprised.But,he shrugged that thought and went inside after parking the car.

Anika and Arjun were welcomed by Sameer and Ayesha.They also greeted them,when Sameer noticed some marks on Anika's arms.He thought about it and will talk about this to Arjun.

Arjun saw Anika sitting with Ayesha and chatting,feigning happpiness.As there were many other guests inside their house,so he thought of talking to Anika,later on.

Suddenly,some lady accidentally threw water on Anika's saree.She excused herself from Ayesha and went inside the guest room's washroom to clean up the mess.

Arjun,finding this situation for talking to Anika,followed her till the room and closed the door.

Anika heard the door of the room closing and asked, ''Kaun hai''?

As she came outside,she saw Arjun,glaring at her.

He tooks steps towards her,and,Anika took steps backward.Anika was really very scared today,seeing Arjun in this angry avatar.

As Anika's back hit the wall,Arjun blocked all the ways of escaping for her.She couldnt meet his gaze,which was full of anger.

She was shivering with fear.

''Kya keh rahi thi tum gari mein ki kisike vishwas ko thhes pohuchane ka mera koi haq nahi hai.(Gripping her upper arm,tightly,leaving marks and hurting her)...

Tum hoti kaun ho mujhe yeh sab kehne wali? Haan... Meri Patni... Meri so-called Patni... Kya kahenge samaj ke logo tumhe ki tum apne pati ko khush nahi rak saki,jabki asliyat hai ki maine hi tumhe kabhi bhi apni patni ki nazro se nahi dekha hai aur naahi kabhi dekhunga.Tumhe bohut ghamand hai na,khudko,ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte ki biwi kehlaane ki,toh ab dekho...''

Arjun gripped her upper arm tightly and was about to force her,when suddenly he felt his a loud sound,sound of slap.

Yes...

Anika slapped him hard on his cheeks.After that,she ran outside the room and slumped on the floor and started crying loudly.

Sameer,by that time,broke Ayesha's fast and then saw,Anika on the ground.

Ayesha immediately went upto Anika and Anika hugged her tightly.

Ayesha was patting her back to calm down.

''W..ww..oh... Ar...rr..jjun... mm...ujj...sshhee... Z...zzzaabar...dasttii...'' anika couldnt complete her sentence and broke down.

By that time,Arjun also came out from the room.Sameer asked the guests to leave,stating some personal matter.

Before Sameer could ask anything,Anika said in a crying tone, ''Sabke samne hum dono pati patni hone ka natak kar rahe thhe,par,asal mein yeh mujhe apne patni nahi maante.Mere aakho mein unhe unke liye pyaar nahi dikhta... Aise insaan keliye Karwachauth ka vrat rakhna hi bekar... Ek saal huye bhi nahi,ki,mujhse acche se baat kiye ho,do pyaar ki baatein kiye ho.Kehrahe thhe,ki,ek saal khatam hone ke baad,he will divorce me... Main aur bardasht nahi karsakti... Mujhe inse dur bhej dijiye,Sameer sir... Innke saath nahi rehna hai... Ek aise insaan ke saath nahi rehna hai,jo apni patni ko uske sahi adhikar naa de paaye... Nahi rehna mujhe aapke saath,ACP Arjun Rawte,suna aapne,nahi rehna hai aapke saath...''

Saying this,Anika threw her Puja thaal on his feet and went away outside. Ayesha stood their rooted.Sameer signalled Shree,Chotu and Liza to go behind her and to stop her.
