Episode starts at Sanjay's house where his mother is angry with him and demands to know why he is so concerned about Shruti and Sanjay repeats that she is his best friend and goes away disgusted with his mother
Shruti reaches home and tells everyone that she has got a job at Sanjay's office. Ami also praises Sanjay saying she has not forgotten anything that he taught her. Shruti asks Ami what she wants as gift and Ami asks for permission to go with her friends to Disco Dandiya. Shruti gets upset as she has heard hat guys go there for drinking and make girls drink as well. So she thinks Ami being only 14 is not mature to go to such a place band so refuses permission without giving any explanation.
The next day Shruti and Sanjay are in office and Shruti sees that Sanjay is upset with his mother. Sanjay says he is fed up of his mother only thinking about his marriage. Shruti says the rate he is going Ami will get married before him. Sanjay's colleague Parekh comes and screams at Sanjay that he has still not received am urgent file and both argue. Shruti apologises and gives him the file which she had worked on and the guy cools down and leaves. Sanjay is impressed.
Shruti and her friends bunk assembly to practice dandiya. The teacher catches them but Ami gets them out of trouble by pretending to be sick. Ami tells them her mother will not give her permission for the dandiya and one of her friend asks whether she is her step-mother and only step-parents stand against the child's happiness.
Sanjay comes to Shruti's house with gifts for the girls and realises that Shruti and Ami are not talking to each other. Sanjay says he was planning to take them out for dinner but now is having a re-think. He says if by the end of dinner they call a truce, he will take them and Ami agrees.
As Sanjay, Shruti and kids leave, Praveen's wife sees them and comments to Jasuben on the closeness. Says a guy and girl can never be just friends. Jasuben tells her to talk to her MIL about her doubt.
Nisha tries to poison Dadi against Sanjay and Shruti's relation. But Dadi supports them and tells that Sanjay wanted to take Dadi as well but she did not go as she does not like Chinese. She says she trusts Shruti completely and tells Nisha to leave. However, Nisha is not convinced
Precap: Dadi tells Shruti that people like Nisha and Jasuben are misunderstanding her relationship with Sanjay. Ami overhears this
