A still of the song
Subhash Ghai's Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai from Khalnayak (1993) finds resonance even two decades after it came into being. The naughty item number, which was rendered by Ila Arun and had Madhuri Dixit and Neena Gupta gyrating to it, still holds a special place as far as item songs go.
Now, Ghai has attempted a naughtier, raunchier song that goes Kambal Ke Neeche Kya Hai, in his latest film Kaanchi. The song has been picturised on the Mohan sisters, Shakti and Mukti, one of who dominated part of a dance reality show recently. And it has been sung by their sister Neeti Mohan.
And the highlight of this song, according to Ghai, is the fact that his heroines " Manisha Koirala, Mahima Chaudhary, Isha Sharvani and Perizaad Zorabian " will make their presence felt in those fleeting one-shot appearances that have become the order of the day in Bollywood.
Says Ghai, "Kambal Ke Neeche was a lifetime experience for me since I am dancing with my past heroines "Mahima, Manisha, Isha, Perizaad " and my Kaanchi girl, Mishti, along with 50 dancers. My actors Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty will also be in it. It was nostalgia for me and my heroines to be on the set together again with so much laughter and fun. I was overwhelmed by the respect from my heroines."
