Yamini Thakur aka Vandita has bagged Balaji Telefilms new show Pavitra Bandhan on Doordarshan National. The show will focus on a Bengali family with Yash Tonk & Hritu Dhudani as leads. Yamini Thakur will play handicapped sister of the female lead. No replies. Have you all forgotten Vandita aka Vandu ? She is very supportive to Archana always. She is our sweet Vandu. When Savita used to humiliate Archana, only Vandita & Damodar stood for her. Edited by jklp - 10 years ago

In fact, Vandu was shown in the friday episode ( 23rd August) of Pavitra Rishta. She came to tie rakhi to Manav.

Vandu will play the sister of Ashima in Pavitra Bandhan. The show has resemblance in name with Pavitra Rishta. Both has same meaning Edited by jklp - 10 years ago

Mumbai: Small screen actor Yamini Thakur, who plays Vandita in the most popular show Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV, is all set to play a vital character in the new show of Balaji Telefilms.

Sources informed that the show named Pavitra Bandhan will be aired on Doordarshan, Yash Tonk and Hritu Dhudani will play the leads.

Sources added that Yamini will be seen playing the sister of the female lead Hritu Dhudani.

In the show Thakur will don the role of a physically handicap girl who is very much attached to her sister. The show will go on air soon.
