Sometime back, we had reported about producer Sudhir Sharma's next show on Life OK -- the love story of a female singer and male lyricist set in Lucknow.
Actor Naman Shaw was finalized to play the role of the lyricist.
According to sources, he had already started grooming and trying out various looks to look every bit the part. However, there is a new development in the project.
We hear that the makers, at the channel's insistence, have replaced Naman with Siddharth Arora. The latter was seen as Beera in season two of Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuchh Kaha.
Says the source, "Naman was finalized, but the channel felt he looked too polished for the character. Siddharth was roped in as he fit the bill better."
Siddharth didn't revert to our text message.
