Very beautifully written..I loved the air of suspense and mystery to know who this character is and why it is that she is thinking in such a manner...I picked up that she was dressed poorly and she is seeking solace in a church, almost as if she is guilt ridden about her life and could care less for it had not it been for the baby in her arms...and who's is that baby? Is she a single mother? Has she ran away with her child? Why is she so scared of loosing him especially at the hands of "the woman"?
