Maanvi is writing in her diary and talking to her baby, about how she loves the baby and how nothing is going to happen to the baby. Virat comes in and gives her chocolate milk and Maanvi takes it and appreciates it, and thanks Virat. Dr Bakshi calls Virat and asks him to bring Maanvi for some tests the next day; Maanvi initially disagrees and tells the doctor that they've decided to keep the baby. Dr Bakshi is impressed and insists that they go for tests and Virat agrees. He explains to Maanvi that the tests may prove beneficial as if there's a problem, treatment can begin immediately; and if there isn't an issue, then they can be relaxed. Maanvi agrees, and both embrace.
Vidhi is helping Sundar set the table; Dadaji, Swamini and Vanshika come in. Vidhi greets everyone and calls Vanshikaa maa, much to her irritation. Vanshika tells her that she's not Jeevika and she doesn't have to call her maa. Dadaji compliments the decor and the food and Sundar says that Vidhi's made all the breakfast. Vanshika is annoyed and walks off, saying that she's not hungry. Vidhi is upset and she tells Dadaji and Swamini how she made the breakfast to pacify Vanshika, but she seems to have gotten more mad.
Beeji is buying vegetables when she spots the silhouette of a man and tries to follow him. She wonders to herself as to whether "he" has returned after all these years.
Vidhi decides to go and apologise to Vanshika for her behavior and feelings.
Vanshika is shouting at Sundar in the kitchen for letting Vidhi help out. Swamini comes in and asks Sundar to leave, and asks Vanshika as to why is she being so rude towards Vidhi. Vanshika explains her stance, and Swamini also counters that Vidhi is bringing them so much happiness, and she's here only on Viren-Jeevika's insistence. She tries to explain that Vidhi too feels bad, but Vanshika says that she can't control her feelings as she gets very annoyed. Vanshika finally comes to terms with the fact that she is overreacting, and that she needs to change her behaviour towards Vidhi. She decides to go and apologise to Vidhi and sort things out. Swamini and Maanvi then discuss how Virat-Maanvi are finally together. Vidhi is listening to all this from outside the kitchen and is upset.
Maanvi and Virat are at the hospital; she gives blood for a blood test and the two decide to wait till the reports come. Maanvi goes off for a sonography test.
Beeji goes into Badi Beeji's room and looks around and stares at a photo. Badi Beeji enquires as to what is she looking at, and she passes the photo to her. Badi Beeji is annoyed at the fact that the person's photo is still there and Beeji says that they may be able to erase the person from their house, but what if the person returns? Beeji then say show she saw him at the market place, and both are worried.
Vanshika goes into Vidhi's room only to find a letter. Vidhi's written a farewell letter about how she doesn't wanna trouble the family, which is why she's leaving, and she'll return when its time to give the kid. She also apologises and promises to take care of the baby more than herself.
Maanvi and Virat are waiting. Virat asks if she wants to eat anything, but she's too stressed to eat. The nurse calls them into the doctor's cabin as the reports have arrived, and the duo enter in rather apprehensively. The doctor tells them that the baby is completely normal, and the two cry in relief. The doctor is about to say something when Virat's phone rings repeatedly, as Vanshika calls him. Maanvi insists that he should take the call and thus he goes out, and Vanshika explains to him what is the matter.
Inside, the doctor tells Maanvi that while the baby is fine, her uterine lining is weak, so she is at a risk of a miscarriage. The only way to counter this is to take multivitamin injections to strengthen her uterine lining. Maanvi agrees to it, as long as it has no side effects on the baby.
Virat agrees to come home ASAP and asks Vanshika not to inform anyone about Vidhi, else there will be an issue. She asks him not to tell Maanvi so that she isn't worried. As he keeps the call, Maanvi comes out and hides the truth about the injections from Virat. As he is about to leave with her, she fakes an excuse and returns inside to take her medicines.
Precap: Beeji is telling Badi Beeji that how can she tell her kids the truth that she hid all these years from them- that their father isn't dead but alive? At the same time Maanvi enters and asks Beeji as to what are they hiding from her.
