Maanvi calls up a hospital to schedule a check up, and the nurse registering her details asks her for her husband's name for the sake of archives. Maanvi gets agitated and starts to argue with the nurse as she doesn't want to divulge his name. Beeji comes in and hears all this and cuts the call, and asks her as to why is she being so harsh on herself and Virat. She asks her to recall all the instances before their wedding and how Maanvi had said that Virat loves her and would always keep her happy. Maanvi counters that she knows and trusts Virat that he'll always be there for her and keep her happy, but she needs to test and check if he harbors the same emotions towards his unborn kid. Beeji tells Maanvi that fatherhood comes when the kid will arrive, and Virat will understand everything and emote properly when the kid is born. Maanvi is thoughtful.
Virat comes out after taking a shower and thanks the doll-kid for "sleeping" and letting him take a short break and shower. He gets a call from Sonu Mallik and they discuss dynamics of work, and he throws the towel on the bed, which falls and covers the baby. Pinky comes in at the same time to collect the dirty laundry and since she spots Virat on the phone, she picks up the damp towel without asking him, and takes the doll-kid along with it. Virat is unaware of this. He keeps the call and turns to see that the doll is missing. He wonders to himself as to whether the doll can walk, and begins to call out for the doll as he hunts around the room for it.
Pinky is about to turn on the washing machine when she realises that the washing powder is finished, so she goes over to the local grocery to pick it up.
Virat is searching for the doll when he spots Maanvi, and hides from her to evade any questions regarding the doll-kid. Badi Beeji notices it and admonishes him for being terrified of his wife, and he tells her all that has transpired.
Swamini goes to meet Vanshika and asks if there's any improvement in Virat-Maanvi's relationship; and Vanshika tells her about the entire deal in Hrishikesh. Swamini assures Vanshika that Virat will succeed and they'll be back home, and that both Viren-Jeevika and Virat-Maanvi have a strong bond of trust and love between them. Vanshika mutters and hopes that it is true, but covers up and says that her head is aching. Swamini leaves to get her some medicines and tea, when Vanshika thinks to herself that she can't reveal the truth unless she figures out what's going on in Vidhi's mind.
In Hrishikesh, the Chaudhary and Virat are discussing the fact that the doll-kid vanished into thin air. Pinky and Dabba screech in shock and Virat asks Dabba to shut up and speak softly. They're discussing as to what is to be done when they all decide to hide the truth from Maanvi and just hunt for it, since it couldn't have gone very far. All run off to find the doll-kid and there are some comic moments in between, but no one is able to find it. All gather back and discuss that they've not found it anywhere. Virat sees Maanvi approaching and he ducks and hides behind the Chaudhary clan.
Maanvi comes and asks as to what's the meeting all about, when Badi Beeji giggles and covers up and says its nothing of the sort. She asks why is everyone so tired, when they all try and cover up for their tiredness. She also asks for Virat when all panic and Dabboo makes an excuse that Virat has gone out for a walk with the doll-kid, and the others back up him. Maanvi is amused, but doesn't say anything. Badi Beeji asks her to go in and relax, and she agrees and goes in, much to everyone's relief.
Vidhi is dressing up and decides to drape her dupatta the way Jeevika does it. She's overjoyed cause she's made Virenji's favorite food for him, and hopes that he likes it. The bell rings and Vidhi rushes to open the door, only to find Jeevika at the door. Vidhi's smile falters, while Jeevika is happy to see her. Jeevika says she came over to take care of her as Virenji had told her that she was ill. She goes off to cook something, and Vidhi seems rather bummed out.
Maanvi wants to have strawberry milkshake, and she asks Pinky to make her some. She takes the washing powder from her and goes to set the laundry while Pinky makes the milkshake, when she hears the doll-kid crying. She goes over to the machine and is shocked and furious to see the doll-kid inside there.
In the living room, the Chaudhary clan and Virat hear the baby crying, and it appears as if the sound is increasing. All are surprised, and try and figure out where is the sound coming from, when Maanvi comes in with the doll-kid, and she's furious.
The Chaudharies are afraid of Maanvi's anger, and Virat looks bummed out. Maanvi lashes out at the family and chides them for siding with such an irresponsible person. She tells them that she found the doll-kid in the washing machine, and goes on about how Virat couldn't even handle the kid for one day. Beeji tries to intervene and says that this is only a doll, when she says that this was supposed to be a test for him to see how would he take care of their actual kid, but he's clearly failed it. Virat apologises and asks for another chance, and Maanvi slams the doll into his hand and tells him to do whatever he wants with it as she doesn't care anymore. She says that after all this, she will not be able to trust him anymore, as he's broken her trust completely. Maanvi is in tears while the others are shocked.
Virat is taking care of the doll-kid when he remembers what Maanvi'd told him. He apologises to the doll-kid for not being able to take care of him/her, and spills out his heart to her. He then admits that he'd only treated the doll-kid like a doll, and that's why this happened. But now he's realised that this is like his kid, and he asks forgiveness from the doll-kid, and asks him/her to convince Maanvi to forgive him as well. He hugs the baby and promises that he won't make such a mistake again, and he'll become the world's best dad, and there'll be a happys endings.
Jeevika comes into Vidhi's room, and seems angry. Jeevika is disappointed for some reason, and tells Vidhi that she couldn't believe that she did such a thing.
Precap: Maanvi tells Beeji that she's mentally preparing herself to teach herself and her kid to live without a dad/husband, as she doesn't see a future for herself and Virat. On the other hand, Virat tells Badi Beeji that he'll do whatever it takes to bring Maanvi back home.
