Even though I understand Virat's current mindset and its links to his character but I cannot help to remember a saying.

"Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Daddy".

Virat is current a father as he has fathered a child with his wife, yet is doesn't know how to fulfil that responsibility. He's not a dad.

Interesting post! I agree with what you wrote about Virat not knowing how to fulfill his responsibility towards his unborn child...However, have you ever heard of the saying

"A woman becomes a mother when she gets pregnant, but a man becomes a father when he holds his child for the first time"

I think Virat is so determined to become successful in his career, he cannot see beyond that...How can a man set his priorities straight when he hasn't even come to terms with being an expectant father?

Nice post, I think Virat doesn't realise the importance of a child yet as he hasn't bonded enough with the baby, as Manvi gets further through her pregnancy I am sure that Virat will bond with the baby too 😊

Very nice post its abit personal for me so Im not gonna say anything but loved thee post and I dont pity or make an excuse for any parent who dont take responsibility of their child even if the child is still unborn. Irresponsible parent scars the child.

@ndp102 Thank you for sharing your views and I do agree to an extend. The saying you used is perfect as well. Most women become mothers when they first find out they are pregnant as they feel their child inside them. However for men it is different. They cannot do that. Often they find that emotions once they have seen that scan or until the baby is born and they have held it in their arms. Then they can see the whole baby.

Unfortunately not all men are like this, hence by saying. Yet it can be extended to women. Anyone can father a child or become pregnant but it takes special people to become parents.

I do believe that Virat will fulfil his responsibility it will take him time. As at the moment his sole focus is his career. The one is has been building for years. Suddenly a child had popped into the picture one which he didn't plan for or really want. He can only see the hinderance to his career not the joy it will later bring. He knows he's going to be a father yet he's doesn't know how to be responsible for that.

Thanks for comments. I surely don't pity any parent that excuse their responsibility to be a parent to their child. Whether born or unborn. Those parents do a lot of damage to their children. Whether it he not stepping up or simply shunning what you should do.

Men especial in our cultures their more focus on their profession they forget that little life inside which was created by their doing. Hence saying that even some women beside having someone inside them and having experience the baby moves and kicks still they dont want them. The child grows up feeling unloved and questioning themselve why they didnt want me, those parent dont feel the child will understand untill they grow up were they will be secured proffesionally and finacially then focus on the child but the child feels not wanted and it always remain in their heart and mind.

My oldest daughter realised their dad doesnt want them now when she was 2yrs but she wasnt old enough to say anything just kept her distance now she is 5 she came out and told me mum he doesnt want us so stop making excuses for him coz we dont need him just the same as he doesnt he will our dad by name only.

I love this track about virat not wanting his baby I was disapointed when cv cut it short the first time this is an awareness should be rise and Kushal is doing fabulous job
