Dressing in Pakistan

hi everyone,,,

i was watching the indus vision and channel G the other day and suddenly something occured to me which i wanted to share with all of you and hear your thoughts,,,,,,,,,it occured to me that these days in pakistan, some people in the name of fashion and modernisation are actually dressing so vulgar and gay,,,,i was watching this award show on indus vision and the question that kept coming to my mind was why r the women and girls who appear on the stage are half naked????? islam has fully allowed women to work, to study , to look beautiful and to wear good clothes but islam has never allowed us to wear clothes that bare our stomachs, that bare our legs,,,that bare our cleavage,,,,,just because india and other western countries do it these days , then does that mean that pakistani women has to do it as well?? in channel G there was a series of songs that 99% similar to acts of satanism and yet they call it Rock and jazz in pakistan???? is it really??? i could compare half a dozen video clips to those of the satan followers and trust me there will be no such difference,,,,,,,,my query is why r we as muslims doing this to ourselves in the name of fashion or entertainment or modernisation,,,,,,why??????????

i totally agrees with you. its not just in Indus n Channel G, we can also see that in Geo n ARY, i dont understand tht some of the girls were so well mannered in dressing before but suddenly they changed there styles just because others are doing. nowadays these family channels have become soo vulgur that its not a Prime Time anymore, we cannot watch it with parents sitting with us. and one more thing i wanna point out tht in every single drama nowadays there is one same story tht girls gets pregnant and some pushes her down the stair and u know all the same SAAZISH n stufff. i dont know wht do they think tht making these kinds of drama will make them equal to the Indian Dramas. RUBBISH

i love paksitani clothes.. but its should be wern like some good manner.s. did u guys see the salwar or majama they ear in pakistan.. i hate thes ... i love beltbotm majamas.. and not shot majamas..

I really feel ashamed to see anything like that in the media. That's not only going against the teachings of Islam, but it also has a negative affect on the younger generation. I am sorry if I offend anyone with my opinion...I personally love Pakistani dramas, but what I mentioned above is just what I think of the fashion these days.
