The Iyyers were praising the Chaddhas when Mrs Iyyer notices Maanvi spying on them. She covertly changes their stance and signals to the others to do so as well, and they all follow her lead. Maanvi is disappointed as she thinks the Iyyers will never change.
Virat is openly spying on the Chaddhas praising themselves and the Iyyers' acting when they notice Virat and call him in to cover up what he may have heard. Mr Chaddha gets a text message and Virat tries to check it when Mr Chaddha asks him to send for some tea/coffee.
Mrs Chaddha and Mrs Iyyer are in the kitchen, discussing about how they're making breakfast cause their families like it when they cook breakfast. The two discuss about the feasibility of their plan and are delighted in the progress and wish the best for each others kids. At the same time, both spot Jeevika passing the kitchen and resume their argument and leave the kitchen, leaving Jeevika surprised. Tarun mentions about how weird the ladies are, as they were behaving like best buds before Jeevika came in. She begins to suspect that something is up.
Virat goes to tell Maanvi that he saw Mr Iyyer texting Mr Chaddha, when Jeevika comes in. Maanvi replies that she saw the two men exchanging looks, and Jeevika narrates her kitchen incident. They then hope that the Chaddhas and Iyyers don't land up splitting Vikram-Sri.
On the terrace, Vikram and Sri are in a dilemma. Vikram tells Sri that its better they run away, when Sri replies that they can't hurt their parents. She then says that its better for them to end everything for their parents' happiness. The two hug in grief and are spotted by Viren, who has overheard it all. Sri excuses herself and walks off.
Mr Iyyer and Mr Chaddha are having a useless fight again regarding who is going to sit on a specific chair when Mr Vadhera comes in and offers them his chair, but they awkwardly refuse and continue their fight. Vikram comes in and asks them to stop fighting and defends his father, when Sri comes in and defends her father. The Chaddhas and Iyyers once again begin fighting when Sri and Vikram begin fighting and in the process, insulting each others' culture and cast. Jeevika-Maanvi asks them to stop fighting when Vikram asks Jeevika-Maanvi not to interfere. Sri then says that his family isn't good enough for her, and they might as well break up. The Vadheras are shocked. Jeevika-Maanvi try to convince Vikram-Sri not to do so but to no avail, and they go off.
Sri is weeping in her/Virat-Maanvi's room for Vikram, and Virat-Maanvi spot her. Same way, Viren-Jeevika spot Vikram mooning over Sri and understand what the couple has done for their families.
The foursome are in a dilemma as to how to unite the families and the couple in one day, when Viren comes up with a plan to make the Iyyers and Chaddhas stay back for a few more days so that they can understand each other in a better way. Jeevika agrees to his idea, adding that since they seem to have gotten over their animosity in the past few days, maybe another few days would work in uniting the two. Virat counters that they don't have a reason to make the two families stay anymore and Viren agrees. Jeevika interjects that they're standing in the presence of the number one drama queen in the entire nation, and asks Maanvi to come up with a plan. Maanvi thinks to herself and smiles to herself and announces that she does have a plan to make them stay back.
The junior Vadheras are relaying their idea to the senior Vadheras. Swamini and Vanshika are apprehensive, but Daddu agrees that if their idea does work, two lovers would be united. The foursome leave to convince Inder when Swamini and Vanshika express their surprise at the fact that Daddu has agreed to be a part of the drama, when Daddu says that the house has been rather drab and boring for a few days, and this would be quite entertaining.
Vikram is thanking the foursome for all they've done for him. Jeevika-Maanvi try to convince him to get back with Sri when he refuses to do so cause the two don't want to hurt the parents who have done so much for them all their lives. All the Vadheras are rather emotional at his admittance. Mrs Iyyer remarks that she doesn't feel right in separating the two, when Sri admits that it was her decision.
Maanvi winks at Daddu who nods, and begins to fake a heart attack. Maanvi goes into the traditional OTT Bollywood heroine mode and screams Dadajeee!!! while Viren-Virat stifle a smile. The three families rush to take him into the room and Jeevika-Maanvi scream doctor (and wink) and Viren-Virat-Inder, who're quietly observing. Once the group has left, Viren-Virat yell Doctor! at Inder and the three leave.
All are in the room with Daddu, and Swamini asks him dramatically as to what caused this huge incident to him. Vanshika enquires about why are Viren-Virat taking so much time to bring a doctor over when the two make an appearance with a man with large frizzy hair and beard, gleefully proclaiming him to be a doctor. (For the uninitiated, the doctor is Inder)
Doctor Inder goes over to Daddu to check him up while Viren-Virat join their wives. As Doctor Inder walks over, Sri's uncle goes over in suspicion, annoying the hell out of the Vadheras. He then enquires as to how is it possible that he reached so early when Virat-Viren make up an excuse that they'd called him the moment Daddu got heart pain and when they left the house, he was standing there. Doctor Inder adds the classic Dominos tag-line 30 minutes service, nahi toh paisa waapas. Daddu fakes another spasm to distract the Iyyers/Chaddhas and Swamini asks Doctor Inder to check Daddu.
On opening his briefcase, Doctor Inder takes out a syringe full of some liquid, much to the horror and shock of the rest of the Vadheras. Swamini asks him to keep the injection aside and check on Daddu first. As he begins to check Daddu's blood pressure (and not in the correct way, mind you!), Maanvi-Virat ask the Chaddhas-Iyyers to leave as they were getting late. Mr Chaddha and Mr Iyyer reply that they won't be going anywhere until Daddu gets alright as he's been a very important person to them, and Mrs Iyyer agrees to stay back and help. Viren smiles and thanks them for their help.
Doctor Inder finishes his examination and declares that Daddu is suffering from epicyclocytis of the liver and disheartening of the heart. He says that he's given an injection and all is normal now. Jeevika-Maanvi high five at Inder's proficient acting when Swamini adds that if all is normal, why did Daddu experience pain in the first place? Doctor Inder replies that he is very stressed out, which is when Daddu adds that he is stressed regarding Vikram-Sri's wedding, which is not happening cause their families don't agree. Doctor Inder adds that any form of stress would be fatal to Daddu, and he needs to be kept away from all forms of stress. Maanvi supposedly freaks out -ala exaggerated Bollywood style- and asks the Chaddhas-Iyyers as to why are they behind his life, as they have only one Dadaji and they'll be orphaned if they lose him. The rest of the junior Vadheras nod in agreement, and Viren-Virat begin to coerce the Chaddhas-Iyyers into saying yes.
The Chaddhas and the Iyyers are thoughtful, but Sri-Vikram dissuade them from fixing their marriage as they counter that Daddu would get well soon. Doctor Inder says that his work is done and he's about to leave when the suspicious uncle goes up to Doctor Inder once again, peers at him curiously and pulls out his fake mustache which was only halfway stuck on his face. The Vadheras squeal in agony as they realise that their plan has been flopped, and Inder comes out clean. The junior Vadheras are exasperated, senior Vadheras are tired and the Chaddhas-Iyyers are shocked.
Precap: Vikram and Sri get engaged, ala South Indian style, although Sri is in a lehenga and Vikram in a dhoti. The Vadheras look on happily.
