TOI.com exclusively reported about ABP coming up with a historical fiction show based on post independence India.
The makers no doubt has roped in tested actors like Anang Desai, Surendra Pal, Navi Parihar and so on to act in the series and it seems the show continuous with the trend of cashing in great actors.
Accordingly, Shiv Subramaniam last seen in Colors' Mukti Bandhan and Akhil Mishra last seen in uttaran has joined the bandwagon. Akhil will essay Lal Bahadur Shashtri while Shiv will also play one of the politicians in the series.
Akhil Mishra confirmed being part of the series while Shiv remained unavailable for comments.
The show which is titled as 'Idea Of India' will hit the screens sometimes in this month (June, 2013).
The makers are eyeing on some big name to host the show.
