Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna HainBrief Written Update May 21st, 2013
- Beeji and Maanvi are mad at Sweety for having burnt the food that she was supposed to prepare. Jeevika calms them and suggests that she will guide Sweety through. They leave and Jeevika gives polite instructions to Sweety who finally makes some proper food, but she's still miffed that no one in the family remembered her birthday.
- Later in the day, a cake is delived to their house, and Dabbu fetches it. However, he declines the cake and says it's for another neighbor, Sumi, since her dog's 5th birthday. Sweety is all the more mad that her husband could note a dog's birthday and not hers.
- It's dinner time, everyone's seated at the dining table, and the men compliment the food which finally makes Sweety smile. She is proud of her cooking when Jeevika asks her to bring some more food from the kitchen. Sweety leaves.
- She returns with the food and is astonished to see darkness everywhere, she calls out but no one answers. After a while, lights are turned on, and the family surprises her with a cake and they celebrate her birthday. Sweety is super happy, she cuts the cake and feeds the entire family with a huge smile.
- Jeevika speaks to Maanvi that Sweety may have changed her intentions seeing their kindness towards her. Maanvi is still doubtful about the same. They return to the discussion and begin presenting their gifts to Sweety. Maanvi gifts a gold anklet, while Jeevika gifts a gold chain and earrings.
- Sweety is overwhelmed seeing the luxurious gifts from them and repeatedly talks about how expensive they will be. Chaudhary's feels awkward and this doesn't go unnoticed by the behans. Dabbu comes next and happily gives a light ring. Seeing this Sweety gets mad and says that it's too cheap and they would go exchange it for a better one the next day. Dabbu feels bad on this rejection and Maanvi decides to teach Sweety a good lesson.
- At night, Beeji asks the sisters to check on their respective husbands. Both husbands ask why their wives are sleeping with Beeji? And then the behnas inform them about the plan of Sweety. Brothers seem tensed on hearing this, but encourage the sister not to lose hope since they were all there to help the family get out of the situation. Both couples share a hug.
- In Dabbu's room, Sweety is ranting about a silly gift that Dabbu gave her. He feels bad, and tries to explain but Sweety is in no mood of listening and goes off to sleep. Dabbu says he'd get a new gift with a sad face. Maanvi is passing by and sees this.
- Next morning both sisters see Beeji upset. They force Beeji to tell them what is disturbing her. After much hesitation, Beeji tells them about how she unwillingly transferred this house to Sweety's name. The sisters console Beeji, and Jeevika suggests that Sweety can be changed, and she can be a better person only if Beeji's gives a chance to prove herself. Beeji is mum for a while but gives a nod to Jeevika. She also suggests that they have a Puja at home before doing anything else. All three agree on the same.
- Jeevika thinks that with the Puja, she will nicely teach Sweety what a family is, and how a family's love can change a person's heart. Jeevika is satisfied. Maanvi on the other hand is thinking hard, and decides to make Sweety suffer for the misdeeds that she has done with Dabbu, by making her do all the household chores day and night. She finishes off by saying that she would make Sweety appreciate everyone and respect her husband; and if she is unsuccessful then she is not Mrs. Maanvi Chaudhary Vadhera. She smirks.
Precap:- Dabbu has brought icecream for Sweety, but she gets angry seeing this and asks him how and why he ridiculously thought of buying icecream for her. Dabbu looks down at himself in shame. The sisters watch this scene, and Maanvi is super mad. She decides to teach Sweety a lesson.
