Part 68

Maan came back mansion after about two hours. Madhav was with him as he was the one who had taken Maan away from office saying reason of any urgent talk. Maan visited his construction site first for the few minutes then went with him.

He was still in foul mood had been waiting for Geet call or any message for the whole time but did not get any and that was making him restless. With the entry inside he walked in his room straight way. Still his eyes were looking for her, waiting for Geet but she was not in sight and that, made him more furious.

"What the hell she thinks of herself!!!' He threw tie of floor in anger. Opened shirt buttons in such frustration that one broken abruptly and swirled. His whole body was on fire but less because of her words but more because, he had not seen her since morning and that was making his heart blazing.

He changed in casual when Dadi came in and asked "Maan didn't Geet come with you?'

Maan first did not understand but when she said that Geet had gone to office taking lunch for him, Maan got shock!! Immediately he called office and got to know that Geet had already left from there long before and where she gone, no one knew. This information increased Maan worry and he rushed out in search of her.

Geet reached to site place and came to know Maan was been there only for minutes. She felt disappointed and so much tiring so decided to return back mansion. She thought for calling him also but then refused thinking he may get anger on her roaming alone in city like this and so said driver to go back.

She was on mid way when it started cloudburst and it was now became difficult to drive fast in this heavy rain. It was taking so much time now to reach.

Here Maan dashed in car and was driving so fast. In between he got to know which car she had been in and was calling to its driver when his cell made buzz. Seeing the name of same driver on screen he rapidly picked it up and then heard Geet trembling sound from other side. He stopped car at once.

For the first Maan shocked hearing her unbalanced voice. The fear of her being in any trouble made him sweated and he forgot his anger altogether.

"Geet are you oaky!!!' he almost shouted but in pain.

Geet nodded hesitantly. She was hell scared of him knowing how much he would have hated her going out alone and here he even doesn't know where she was. Even she had no idea which place it was and she was scaring being alone in this heavy rain so had decided to call Maan. His voice was soothing even if, he was shouting on her.

"Hm!'

Maan waited impatiently for her to speak some more..

"I;m okay'

Maan closed eyes to calm down. The relax he found with her voice was much needed at the time but now his anger came back!

"Where the hell you are Geet!!!' he speeded up car.

"I don't know Maan you please drive slowly' she could hear screeching sound of tires on wet road.

"Give phone to driver' he said firmly

She nodded and handed over to driver. Maan talked him and asked where they were and told him to wait there till he comes. He did not want him to drive in this dark stormy atmosphere when Geet was alone with him. Within twenty minutes Maan reached on place and told Geet to seat in his car. Geet begun to count her last breath in fear.

She was sitting fearful stealing glances secretly. She had have his lunch box in lap which was eager to be opened and get inside his mouth as soon possible but she was not getting courage to do that. But when after a few minutes of drive she realized that his medicine time is getting over, gathered her every bit of courage, opened the box and took out a bite in hand and carried it near his mouth but Maan shoved it.

She did it about five to six times but never Maan accepted this food nor did speak a word. It was getting so much upsetting to bear his silence treatment but she knew, she had done mistake and so was ready to take any punishment from him.

"Maan kha lijiye na. Why are you bringing out your anger on this food? It did not do anything na!! And you have to take your medicines also, please Maan!' She said cutely but it did not melt his anger this time.

Maan glared her and took out his phone dialled a number.

"Who are you going to talk?'

But Maan did not reply and proceeded "Hello, Panditji, I'm Maan.. Maan Singh Khurana' Ji.. I want to talk about our marriage date. Please can you change..'

Before he could speak further Geet snatched phone out from his hand and cut it.

"What are you going to do?'

"This one thing you wanted Geet, didn't you? Now give me back my phone' He tried to get hold of it but Geet kept hand behind.

"No, you don't need to change it!'

"Geet give me my phone back!!!

She shook head. "Nahi dungi!!'

As Maan rose to snatch it she lost hold of phone and it fell down under her seat.

"Geet!!!!' Maan glared her like anything that immediately she kneeled down and tried to search phone but because of narrow space it was so difficult to do it.

She looked him with pitiful eyes but as Maan gave glare she again advanced hand below seat and suddenly her head hit the seat-metal as car took a turn. But in fear she did not wince nor Maan could hear her little sob due to rain sound and she finally found his cell.

Maan without looking her took phone and till then they had reached Mansion already. He came out of car and started to dial some number. Geet who was following him with a small red bump on her forehead with little dried blood clot, looked him curiously as Maan was trying more than two three times to same number and finally she asked,

"whom you dialling Maan'

"Why Dev phone is not connecting!' He self-talked but was enough to hear by Geet and she kept standing there numb. Maan last time again tried his number and this time they heard his phone ring in mansion itself.

Precap: \ Tum mujhe itna kyu satati ho Geet!!!! Why.. you do feel happy when see pain in my eyes haina!!!' Maan clutch was hurting her arm but she was lost to see in his eyes...
