Star Plus' Mahabharata welcomes Mansi Sharma on board!
One has already come across the catchy promos of Siddharth Kumar Tewary's mythological saga, Mahabharata on Star Plus. It is notable that post the grand success of Life OK's Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, mythological shows have got a new lease of life.
They are in huge demand and people are looking to recreate the age old tales and present them in a new way so as to educate the younger generation. Talking of Mahabharata, the mega project has been in talks since a long time. However, it failed in hitting the production floor owing to some or the other reason. But all seems to be going right as of now and the shooting for the same is about to start.
It has got some big names playing the key roles in the likes of Shaheer Shiekh, Pallavi Subhash and Sameer Dharmadhikari. And the latest buzz now states that actress Mansi Sharma, who was last seen in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, has also joined the cast. Sources say that she will be playing the role of Ambika in Mahabharata. Ambika was one of the three daughters of King Kashya of Kashi. Her two other sisters were Amba and Ambalika. Mansi Sharma said, "Yes, I am doing the show but I can't comment anything on my role."
