Neelu – Arvind were the older couple amongst all the glamourous young couples on Nach Baliye Season 5 and were the top three finalists too but eventually they were out-numbered in the votes department by the winning Jodi Jai – Mahhi. However, that has not deterred Neelu - Arvind from celebrating, "We are happy even if we have not won the trophy. We are winners in the eyes of our fans who have taken us to such great heights of popularity" says a visibly excited Arving Kumar at the launch of Star Plus's latest show Shriman V/S Shrimati.

Talking for his wife Neelu too who was absent from the launch since she was shooting for Diya Aur Baati, Arvind shares his moments of joy, "Just yesterday I took my kids for an ice-cream treat after a long time since we were both busy with Nach all this time and at the ice cream parlour we were surrounded with kids who wanted to touch me, talk to me and know me better. Even the elders who accompanied them were so happy to meet me. I have to say here that I really thank the media for giving us so much of support and they have been there with us even after the finale. The response that we got has been tremendous and even this feels like we have won."

His signature action has got him a huge response with everyone copying it and Arvind doesn't seem to mind at all, "Wherever I go, whoever I meet they all greet me with my signature style 'Aye Arvindji' and it feels good."

Along with the adulation and admiration from the fans the memory that will remain with him from Nach Baliye is the comments from the celebrity judges, "While we always had Shilpa Shetty, Sajid Khan and Terence Lewis giving us their expert comments, I also enjoyed the comments coming in from Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Govinda, etc. It was such a honour when Govinda told me that his wife Sunitaji commented that I had danced to all his songs when he was young and that they had enjoyed watching it."

A popular Rajasthani actor, this was a TV debut for Arvind Kumar and now he is inundated with more work, "Suddenly, I am being called for work. While Star Plus wants me to do as much work with them as possible, I am getting calls from other channels too."

So, all you fans of Arvind are in for a treat as they will now get ready to see more of the talented actor.
