I know, we are all extra sensitive about this farewell scene today... even though it was probably shot before the channel decided about the show but still there was a poignancy about it that none of us missed...
But you know me, I still cannot stop from dissecting it and adding my two cents worth... so here is what I thought about it...
Well, the entire farewell scene was significant... it was sort of a repeat of the farewell scene from last year when Ashu went to Delhi... do you remember?
1. The dialog about 'chodne ki baat'... Ashu said the same thing that Nidhi told him last year when he asked her on the phone if she wanted to come to the airport to drop him and she replies the same way... she says, app baar baar chodne ki baat kyu kar rahe hain... this time Ashu says it...
2. When going to the airport on way to Delhi, Ashu asks what if he has to go for long and she says she will follow and get to him... so he fell in Gomati and she found him... this year she says he will find her exactly in the same place and same condition, wonder what this is going to mean? Something may happen to her? ðŸ˜
3. Finally the goodbye itself was exactly the same as last year where Ashu turns back once more to wave at her, only this time they were both really depressed... last year it felt as if Nidhi was more depressed than Ashu...
4. Then the first call from Bangalore... Nidhi pretty much asks the same questions and scolds Ashu in the same way as last year when he reaches Delhi and picks up her call after many tries... at that time he tells her this is the first time someone has cared so much about him... now he accepts that care and reciprocates, his talk on the phone clearly showed that he simply loved to hear that 'pyar bhari daant' from her...
5. Finally for the first time Ashu introduced himself as Dr. Ashutosh Mathur! 😃.
Please friends, just because the show is going to end soon, lets not feel depressed from now on. We still have some episodes to enjoy, criticize, berate, love... so lets do it. Lets keep this forum active and savor every second we can get together... the time for farewell will come but its not there yet! 😊
