Finally today's episode made me feel a lot better. I was not irritated throughout for the first time in days and believe me the moments with Gopi and the rest of the family got me to smile and there was the moment when Gopi hugged Ahem that made me even have to gulp down the sorrow a bit. It was so touching😳
So here we go.. The first thing I thought as soon as the episode ended on Gopi's "I am glad" smiling face even as Rashi berated and put her down was this.. Just how different are they are and just how beautiful are some people😊
It was really a study of contrast. The family of course was today back to doing something nice. But first lets start with Jigar. Poor sod. I want to feel sorry for him but I also want to strangle him.
He is so blinded by Rashi that he comes home holding a poster from the Mr. and Mrs. Rajkot competition. Baa rightfully teases him about it and of Koki puts it right on target. "Knowing your wife," she says, "Rashi will jump at this chance."😆 That was perfect. And Jigar as usual is lost in the lalaland of Rashi and blushes😉
What happened afterwards is as usual. What I did not understand though was Jigar's sudden want for Gopi to stand by him and hold his hand whenever he calls Rashi But that is what he does. He lets his wife sarcastically declare that she does not want to participate because his 'perfect Bhabhi' is anyway going to win. And what does he do after that? Jigar walks away with a sad face. That is when the I wanted to start the strangling.
This idiot, came in, put a call to his wife and let her call his Bhabhi names and then he walked away like he was the victim while leaving Gopi in tears for her 'fault' in making him sad. Jigar is so onto himself and his relationship that he did not even see how shattered Gopi looked after Rashi's declaration. The sorry faced wimp😡 Anyway his dream of dancing and oogling his wife came true as she found that she could win 50,000 rupees. Poor sod will think she is there for him while she is there for the money. Nice relationship though. Husband is a fool and wife thinks she can walks all over others and what more has a false sense of pride that will put a peacock to shame😊 Anyway.. I do not have to say anything on the Rashi side of this. She did sound happy when Jigar first told her about the competition but when she heard Gopi's name, she decided that she would not participate. I get that. Totally her decision.
But I do not agree with her way of making Gopi feel all guilty again when she tried to call. And Gopi too cannot stop herself. She is so naive that she fails to see that Rashi is just making her feel worse with her words because that is what Rashi wants. She wants Gopi to give her a free pass again and let her ruin lives. Anyway, Gopi need not have tried so much. The mention of money was enough to get her cousin come to the competition she declared she was not interested. And Rashi calls it as love for her husband Oh goodness🥱
On the other side, we had Gopi.. She was almost ready to confess to the person she trusts the most, her Maaji. I loved that she wanted to take Koki's help but then Gopi is Gopi. She has to overthink everything.
But there is a valid point in her line of thought. If either Koki or Ahem come to know what Rashi did with vansh and then now with the Milkmen, they will not be forgiving as she was. Gopi may forgive Rashi for even murder but KoHem will not. So Gopi backs off in the last minute and Koki finds her confused and worried and assumes it is because she misses Rashi😭
But then comes the best part of today's episode. The GoHem scene. No. I am not saying it is the best part because it was GoHem. But it was truly a beautiful scene. Ahem who had agreed to take part in the competition after a lot of cajoling (he agreed on Gopi's request but that is another story😳), stands there admiring himself in that suit and glasses. It looked funny but very cute.
It was lovely to see him try to dance with Gopi. His gentleness was her undoing. There are times in life when you cannot share your pain with your loved one but still their care and their love makes you want to pour your heart out. That was exactly what happened. Gopi finally wept on Ahem's shoulders pouring her grief for being the reason for Rashi and Jigar's sadness😊 Yes. I was smiling.
This scene was long due. Ahem is after all Gopi's only solace apart from Koki in this family. All the rest are of no use. Even if she cannot share her pain completely with Ahem, Gopi still wept on his shoulders fully knowing that she had his unconditional support even if he did not know what was wrong. I think his concern as she first hugged him made her stronger. Gopi wept on his shoulders as Ahem just held her. I think she needed to do this.. For her own sake and I am glad that Ahem was there for her.😃😳

** Urmi may have convinced Rashi to stay in RN and actually I liked it that she loves her daughter a lot but Rashi again got her way🤢 She needs a lesson in one way or the other😕

** Baa and Jigar knok Jhok came after a long time and it was nice to see them teasing each other. For one moment I thought Baa was going to participate with Doodhwala😉
** I confess I am actually excited about the ME. The CVs may disappoint. But Gopi's smile in the precap somehow made me smile. She has been beating herself to death for some people who do not even care and it hurt. So even if Rashi is making fun of Gopi in the precap, the content smile on this girl's face was soothing. it is time Gopi gave herself a break. She has done what she can. It is not her fault anymore.😊
