Aamir Ali, currently seen in 'Hongey Judaa Na Hum' and 'FIR', has been finalised as the new male lead of 'Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga'. The makers of the show, it seems, have decided to give it a complete makeover. The existing male lead, Pankaj Singh Tiwari, is leaving the show.
Sources say the storyline will change and Aamir will enter as a new character. His family will be introduced later. Aamir had earlier worked with the Barjatyas in Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki. Says a source from the production house, "We are set to enter the next phase of our show and it's a logical decision to bring in a new male lead. This was in the planning for some time now. We informed Pankaj almost a month ago that he would be killed in the show and we will bring in a new male lead. Aamir will enter first and then his family. While some producers opt for time leaps to shift the storyline, we chose to bring in a new family." Despite repeated attempts, both Aamir and Pankaj didn't respond.
