This is everyone's nightmare, Shyam and Sheetal standing in front of them when they thought their days of trouble were over. Who could have anticipated this?
"Lekin mainey tho inn dhono ko giraftaar kiya gaya tha, yeh kaise hua? Damn it…" Arnav clenched his fists, gritting his teeth.
" Arnavji, shaanth hojayee, " said Khushi trying to convince him and herself everything will be fine.
It was past midnight, and the clouds had broken out with the lightning ki awaaz and storm began pouring on them.
"Saleh saaahib" mujhe issee din ka inthizaar tha. Aap Garee se nikaliye" shouted Shyam,
Arnav knew he had to do something; he couldn't reverse the car as it had been blocked by another car, presumably one of Shyam's men.
Arnav looked at his phone, thinking he could summon help by calling the police… "Damn it, no signal!'
He realised there was no other option but to confront Shyam. He put his hand on the door handle, "Naheee Arnavji, yeh aap kya karahey? Woh bahoth kaathanak hai, aap ko maar daleyenge" said Khushi with her on his shoulder trying to calm him down.
"khushi, maine zindagi jee liya hai, mujhe tum milgayee na, abh mujhe kuch nahee chahiye, mujhe kuch nahee hoga" Arnav said in his ASR style.
Whilst he looked into her eyes, she began weeping with the sound on "Rabba Verrr" in the background. They exchanged moments, staring into each other's eyes for a few minutes.
"Chalo" shouted one of Shyam's men as he opened Arnav's car door, and grabbed Arnav by the collar dragging him out of the car. The rain intensified more.
As Arnav stepped out of the car, "Dhekha , kaise laga sab se saamne beysthee hui, abhee mujhe bhee woh din yaad hai " said Sheetal naturally referring to her humiliation when Arnav had exposed her to the whole family about her plan and scheme to steal from them.
Arnav walked slowly towards Sheetal standing next to Shyam.
"Ab kya plan hai darling," asked Sheetal to Shyam.
Arnav knew Sheetal was so low in her actions, he could never have imagined she would bring herself even lower to call Shyam darling.
"Saleh saaahib, apne hum dhono ko aisey sharam kya, humarey plan ko aapne kharaab kiya, humaree daulat hamaray haath se nikalgayee," Shyam said with his teeth clenching.
The rain intensified, Khushi could see everything from the car. She knew she couldn't just sit there. She loved Arnavji, and if he was going to be taken, then she wanted to go with him.
Khushi stepped out of the car," Aap kya samajthe hai, hum apse dharthey?"
Sheetal grinned "acha hum bhee tho zara dhekey kitna dham hai" and she slapped Khushi on the face.
" How dare you?" said Arnav pushing Sheetal to the ground. Shyam raised the gun to Arnav's face " aab aapki baree hai". Suddenly Arnav's phone rang, everyone got distracted and Arnav saw the opportunity. He pounced on Shyam, trying to force the gun out of the way.
They both scuffled onto the wet road, rolling around, screaming, punching each other where they could but trying not to let go of the gun. A shot fired off in the air
Sheetal got up but Khushi grabbed her by the hair trying to scratch her face. She ripped a piece of Sheetal's blue blouse and clenched it in her fist.
Shyam's men looked at eachother as another shot fired off from the gun, " Bagho" they said realising things were getting out of hand.
They escaped in the second car that had blocked ASR's car.
Meanwhile Khushi and Sheetal were rolling on the ground slapping and hitting eachother. " Mai tumhe nahee chorungi" said Khushi
Shyam and Arnav continued to battle it out, Arnav throwing a good punch on Shyam's left eye. Shyam fell to the ground, but the gun was in his hand and before Arnav could get to him, Shyam fired the gun.
Arnav froze, stood there, Sheetal and Khushi watched , Shyam looked in amazement, he had done it. Arnav Singh Raaizada was shot. Arnav looked down at hands covering his stomach only to see blood pouring out.
"Arnavjiii" screamed Khushi
"Khushi, Khushi , kya huwa, its ok, its ok, " said Arnav lying next to her. Khushi looked at him, she was lying in her bed at home next to Arnavji. 'You had a nightmare, sab teekh hai, it' ok"
Khushi looked around in confusion. "aap teekh hai na"
"Ha mai bilkul teek hoon" he replied. "Lekin who goli, Shyam aur.?
"Relax Khushi, I think you've had a nightmare, tumhe bahoth paseena araatha"
Arnav stepped out of the bed and made his way to the bathroom.
Khushi lay there in bed, happy and smiling. She got up and made her way to the dresser, something dropped out of her hand……it was a wripped piece of blue blouse…………
