its kind weird how Chandragantha and Katyayani have the exact same outfit-from a distance it looks like they have repeated😆

They are same with Sward & Trishul's angle differs a bit in both the pics.😆 they may be shown in the Sky only like this epi, will be happy if they come down & everyone gets scared seeing them. Their pic is same of Shivji explaining them to Kartikeya. She had to change only 4 outfits. 2 are repeats, Brhmacharini, MahaGauri & Kali are from her past epi.Edited by mnx12 - 11 years ago

but i am just wondering if they will actually show Nav Durga doing something or they will just show them like this

According to Many purans, Chandraghanta and Katyayini are one and the same Devi that killed Mahishasur, Shumbh and Nishumbh. 
Still there are many differences between the two if taken in account in picture itself we can see chandraghanta with a moon on her head thats the diff shown.
Other Actual differences that are not shown are tht  Katyayini is either four armed or eighteen armed and rides a Lion where as Chandraghanta is ten armed and rides a tiger.
In Mahadev, They were shown as same goddess but when it came to potray Nav Durgas, They had to put moon on chandi's head and also gave her third eye. 
According to the nature, Chandi is more aggressive than Katyayini.
