Yeah, that's medicine alright! You have a lot of courage to withstand that. I had a option of HS, opted for LS ( Life Sciences) then went the pharmaceutical path!! But yeah, i can imagine the hair pulling, you have to go through.And you are right just imagine wearing that white coat and the Dr. attached to your name It will all be worth it.
